Yep. Last fall when I made the switch, I gained at least a full second at tracks such as Infineon, Silverstone and Road Atlanta, and nearly a full second at Tsukuba.

It didn't make me a God, but at least now I am not terminally slow in anything other than a TCC Volvo.

I did a bit of testing on Road America standing start because at the time I'd not run it and in "A Class" and I was about half a car length ahead by the first corner by using the clutch back to back runs, try it. Road America is good due to the long run to the first corner, find a class you've not run in with manual run a standing lap, quit out then switch to manual with cluch and run against your ghost see what happens in the same car.

Remember to swap the handbreak with cluch, you should be using the A button to cluch so you can press the shift and cluch together, good luck.

Can anyone send me a set of number boards (I believe any will do as it's for the Seat Leon cup) and if possible any sponsor logos? Tough I have a few sponsors, so they aren't a huge issue, but the number boards would be a massive help as I need them for tomorrow... Haha!

Hi buddy, welcome to TORA, I'm new here myself, I too never used to be able to race without the assists turned on, but like everyone has already said, just keep practising without them and you'll get better and better Hope to see you on the track soon
