MSA TORA Spec Cup Season 1 - Build Rules

This is a Spec series, and as such the lobbies will be set up as best we can so that the cars have to be built to the specific build. If someone is found to be cheating the system or has built the car wrong then there will be punishments handed out as required.

Anyone cheating at a fun online racing game really should take a good long look at their life!

Driving around Mugello, and the car feels quite lively. It's going to be bumper to bumper momentum racing, i.e, lots of fun. Why ruin that with cheating?

Because unfortunately some people will try and do it if it can make them tenths quicker no matter the case. It's possible that the cars may be built to specifics so they have to be picked with the lobby settings as best we can, or people will have to get the cars from one of our SFs.

Unfortunately when people do this, it kind of defeats the point of having these spec series or in fact any series where the cars are the same and that are equal.
It's sad really if anyone was to try and bend the rules a little. The only way I see around it is if TORA was to supply their car build i.e save it as a tune and then upload it to one of the TORA staff members storefronts so that way, no one can cheat and have an entirely different build to the one specified.

EDIT: The great thing with storefront items is that you can see how many times that particular item has been bought! So if you compare it to the number of competitors that have signed up for a race series, that can be an indication then if everyone has bought the required tune/build from the storefront.

This is why the car should be bone stock with no tuning allowed. TRUE spec series right there.

Tune the car to the spec or you'll get decked.

I have followed the build, but I only got a 404PI C with 172HP and a weight of 2,426lbs, how do I get the 419 with 5lbs extra?

Stock Rims? 255 Tyre Width? Make sure everything is sport and not race... Everything is there, you shouldn't be able to go wrong with it

I followed the build exactly, I have stock rims and everything is what is should be on the build.
I fixed my tyre size problem, but still only on a 416...

And 2lbs over.

Try making the car completely stock and then putting the parts back on.

That works for some cars, not so much for others. IF T10 had built more "spec racers", production based race cars, then we wouldn't need to upgrade everything.
