Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 1 [locked]
Multiple tire compounds are in
No offroad I think I heard
Accurately modeled scratches and bumps
No wreckage so crashing isn't glamorised
Oil and rubber collects on the car
Not modelling weather
Material wrapping on cars (Carbon, gold, aluminium etc)
When you buy a car, game suggests paintjobs from community (for free, painters still get paid)

Oh god, cos that was a huge hit.LMR Trash wrote:dont forget forzavista for every car lol
They need to take the stats of where the game is utilised and played.
Most time in menu, make pretty menus. Forza Menusport 5
Next either would be driving / tuning or painting. Painting is to a point where anything can be done, apart from painting on CF, thats sorted. Tuning is fine, more tyre compounds is bringing something back, but nothing is being done with the immersion of actually driving the things.
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 1 [locked]
He also said some things that hinted towards bigger lobbies. Was vague about it though.

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 1 [locked]
Physics will be improved upon, so new tyre model and suspension work will increase immersion and gameplay. People - especially here - have been looking for the different tyre compounds to come back and now that they have its classed as nothing new?
Auto vista is pretty cool, but only ever looked at once. First and grime build up on cars and tracks is pretty awesome, will add to the immersion of long TORA races I think.
Fixing the paint and having 3 different layers to build upon is also pretty good and a great expansion to the basic paint system FM used on the X360.
Pretty disappointed that the cars can't be totally destroyed, especially the open wheelers. Which as a note is great to see as the engine must be completely new as the open wheelers were claimed to be impossible on the X360 engine.
Drivatar was in FM2, and then removed it as they didn't think it was needed. The Cloud service with Drivatar will be pretty impressive, especially racing friends style and speed instead of dodgy AI. Love the fact that my AI will drive when I'm not online and continue earning me credits. Gonna be great getting back from work and having a load of credits to spend

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 1 [locked]
+1 Physics is King when talking about racing games and we know Forza has that nailed or we wouldn't be still playing it and I'm with you regarding autovista. I'll pop in there for 5 mins to get the achievement then never look at it again ala Forza 4.Richy59 wrote:Physics will be improved upon, so new tyre model and suspension work will increase immersion and gameplay. I'll probably use Forzavista a lot to be honest lol. It's something to do when I don't feel like racing.

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 1 [locked]
If I could do Autovista with my own custom cars then I would leave that on in the background if doing something, or make a snazzy screen saver and have awesome screenshots
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 1 [locked]
I believe I have read elsewhere that LaFerrari has been confirmed too.
Lots of subtle details here that I really, really like. I'm very uch looking forward to this. Going in open minded. Bit of a shame not to be able to port over liveries after all the effort we've all gone into so far but hey it's all part of the fun

Looks a bit arcady, but for single player that's not a bad thing.
Doesn't look that Forza style though.

Anyone recognise the image in the background of the 'racing' section?
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 1 [locked]
Really can't decide whether to get this or not...
Also, apparently Porsche isn't in the game...

Ooohhh liking the new look Looks slick. The "leagues" remind me a bit of how Shift 2 went about it's career business.
