Post by roist510 Fri 17 May 2013 - 9:06

I just found this site from a post at Forzamotorsport.net. First off, I would like to commend the administrators for including Race Pro in the mix. I just came across this diamond in the rough and am keen on Sim Bin's effort. I'm hoping to get some organized racing in that can fit my time zone/schedule. So, it appears this site runs on BST if I'm not mistaken. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not the one in the top 1000's on FM4's leaderboard. At last check top 1% overall in the 80,000's but only top 42% P2P. My love of racing goes back to the days of urban arcades and Pole Position sit down cabinets. But the passion started with Rad Racer on NES; to Top Gear Rally (SNES), before GT 1&2 had me accompanying my N64 with a PS1. After chasing that sim aspect on my N64 (i.e. World Driver Championship), and later on Xbox180 & Dreamcast with Sega GT (and Sega GT 2000) Project Gotham Racing 1 & 2 TOCA and Pro Race Driver (Codemaster solid efforts), my thirst was quenched when Turn10 and Microsoft Studios dropped Forza Motorsport 1. It was on from there. Now I collect racing games old and new (have two Interact steering wheels my Pops and I race with on Sega Dreamcast for Test Drive Le Mans, F1 World Grand Prix & Sega GT), sims, failed attempts at sims (i.e. NFS: Shift), arcadies and other racing games resting in the bargain bin. I don't care if I come in last, I just love to kick back and relax with my MC2 non-FF wheel while my 360 is still operable. Thanks for the site and coordination of what seems to be a solid establishment.

Hi Welcome to TORA,

Clean racing you ask for, well that is something you are sure to get here. Being part of the MSA we are run like any real race series.

We manly use Forza 4 at present time and have used Race Pro in the past but not much time with it now.

If you have any questions just ask

Hello and welcome to TORA Hello

As for time zones, most TORA series are BST friendly, but we also have races in American times as well.

Looking for clean racing Empty Thanks!

Post by roist510 Mon 20 May 2013 - 20:55

Very Happy Thank you ALL. I look forward to actually, at least, being able to attend qualies for an event. I'm about 4-6 seconds off of Pole pace (@ RRS Scirrocco series @ Hock Nat.) so I'll be accepting any constructive criticism and pointers if any member wants to take a driving enthusiast under their wing.

Welcome to TORA, Grab your race number and I'd suggest starting out in the SPEC SERIES, no tuning involved......
