Unofficial TASCAR All-Star Race *POSTPONED*

Date: Sunday, May 26th, 2013
Time: 2:00 PM EST/7:00 PM GMT/11:00AM PST
Track: Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway
Distance: 100 laps/150 miles

Qualifying: Four laps (one warm-up, two flying, stop in first corner on final lap so I can record times). Five second roll off delay to give everyone space.

Race: Three segments that total 100 laps (two 40 lap segments and a final 20 lap segment). Warm-up lap before each segment. Caution will be thrown for two or more cars crashing and/or spinning. Mandatory pit stop window: 18-22 (only applies to the first two segments). No restarts.

Is this an official event through TORA and who qualifies for it?

It's not official. I just completely forgot that I can't use TORA for Community Events. And any previous champions and race winners from TASCAR 2011 and TASCAR 2012 are eligible (which you are eligible). Mario also said that the 2010 Stock Car Cup should also be added, so I have to wait on winners from that series.

TCR? Seems like it should be considered TORA if its based on an official series. Either way...I'll be in.

just realized what time this is being held. i will be wrapping up my trip in Boston, or on my way home at 2pm next Sunday, so i guess im out.

I'll be watching the Indy 500 at that time, unless there is a rainout. Sorry bro, but its tradition.

A lot of people seem not to be able to make it.

How's about maybe hosting it a week before the TASCAR season starts?

How about we hold this at the end of TASCAR Season 3?

Week before or after TASCAR S3 would work... think "Budweiser Shootout" as a sneak preview of the upcoming season.

could work better. might be more new winners after this season.

the week before is actually the TORA 24hr Le Mans. the evening after the big race is over, is the "Qualifying meeting" for Round 1 (similar to Daytona Speedweeks with Qualifying and the 'Duels' on the Sunday afternoon)

Not 100% sure yet if I'll be able to enter as it's held on the same day as my birthday (26th) but we'll see.

Let's find a better date shall we.

Probably not running it at the date I have posted and will probably hand this over to Mario for the end of TASCAR (that is if he wants to run it).
