Now for some clues about next week’s cars, I give you Johniwanna. I will say this, it will be the biggest reveal by far, including the most new-to-Forza Motorsport cars yet. So hang on to your hats, if you wear a hat, otherwise just hang on. Take it away, Cluemaster!

So the track reveal will probably be Yas Marina or something like Monza. Hopefully this time we WILL actually have a huge release of cars as promised last week. Guessing I missed the memo there
There's a lot to be excited about here. Suffice to say, TORA 2014 is looking extremely exciting

I'm guessing Yas will be announced in conjunction with the F1 race.

#3 could be the Ferrari F50, F40 or F150

Actually, I think they were.

They were announced at E3, waayyy before Rush was released

Couldn't agree more. I asked them if I could get a photo of the Viper GTS-R around Laguna since both were already announced and they told me "Every photo we take is strategic to the Launch"

While I understand they want to show the right stuff at the right time, what they are showing and announcing is at the completely wrong time. They don't understand it, but it is clear as crystal from our POV as the consumer.

To wow a gamer, the parasitic hive-minded swarm that determines whether a game, or a whole company, is successful, you need to show off what they are looking for first and upfront.

Look at MS and Sony. When Sony announced the PS4, they wowed gamers with all their games and demos and shiney new graphics. With the XB1, MS decided to wait and show their games at E3, a week or two later, and so instead showed us short previews and app gubbins that everyone takes for granted on the 360 anyway. The hive-mind gamers didn't stop to think about their choice and immediately decided the XB1 was inferior, among other things.

T10 are in the position that they have to show off not only what the XB1 is capable of, but also how much better FM5 is than FM4 and all the other racing sims you can buy. Instead of showing FM5 at E3 as the racing sim the driving gamers want, they decided to put shiney sportscars you'd never see together on a shiney city circuit on an imagined street course that would never exist - ie, arcade racer.

Compared the the GT6 trailer that was launched not long before, which showed a heap of new cars and tracks, as well as loads of racing cars, circuits and disciplines, Forza looked weak. It has done, and will continue to do so, until they pull out the big guns, which (apart from Bathurst and Spa - tracks already in pCARS, Shift 2 and GT6) they are saving until mere weeks from release.

What they should have done to wow all the driving gamers and potentially tip the favour towards XB1 is actually show the open wheel cars, F1 cars, GT cars, LMP cars and whatever at Spa, Bathurst, Silverstone, and all the other new tracks, in a realistic setting without fancy camera angles and effects which make it look fake, as well as flaunting new features to the series. Just how GT6 did.
