Hi everyone!
My Xbox Gt is Shrimp Tabasco, 30 years young and i live in the Netherlands.
I have been playing Forza since the first installment back on the first Xbox although i wasn't playing competitively until Forza 3 came out. After trying some online races i decided i wanted to race together with people that also like to race more serious and clean so i started looking for a community that fitted my requirements. After some searching i found one in the Netherlands. Sadly due to lack of interest the community was losing more and more members and, eventually, died out. There were some things going on in my life at that point so i took that opportunity to focus some more on other things and other games.
After Forza 4 came out i limited myself to driving offline and that has been that way since recently. Recently i started playing more and more Forza 4 (i skipped Horizon). My friends and old car club are not playing anymore so i wanted to join a more active community again to play some rivals and maybe participate in some races. I joined a car club with some active members and then I read about TORA on the rear-view mirror articles on forzamotorsport.net. I started looking around on this forum and after i saw some races on youtube it gave me the final push to join here and write this (long) introduction post.
My racing experience is regrettably limited to the virtual worlds of Turn 10 and SimBin (on pc) although i still hope to, one day... .

Re: New member here
Welcome Shrimp!!
I think you'll like it here, there is a LOT of competition here on TORA and you'll only improve!
Usually I'd point you in the direction of getting a race number for all of your TORA efforts but that's on hold at the moment because we are trying to clear out some of the inactive numbers. I think the list reopens on Saturday sometime.
Any questions just let us know!

Re: New member here
One thing you are sure of here, we wont be drying out, we continue to grow and grow.
Race numbers will open again this Saturday 9pm BST. For the time being have a look around at what series you would like to join, I would advise a spec cup series, Just finished Season 1 and Season 2 will be starting Wednesday 3rd July, or you have the Seat Cup on Friday nights that I would recommend as a good series to join.
Or just go complete hardcore and join the ISCC, one of our flagship series which puts LMP1, LMPC and GT cars on the track all together, starting in July also, still not taking your fancy? Well how about this, by taking part in a race you get a ticket for a prize draw at the end of the season, and at the end of the season there will be a draw to see who wins our main prize, the more races you do the more tickets you have meaning the more chances you have of getting your name picked. Excited!! but you dont even know what the prize is yet.
*Speakers, Keyboard, CSR Shifter, Monitors and Monitor stand are not included in Prize.
I rest my case
(sorry sorry for the long reply, I dont know what come over me WELCOME)
