Allen Simonsen Tribute

hey, so on saturday next week, i am going to be running a 2 lap salute in memory for Simonsne's passing, 
the rules, any aston martin, regardless year, make, model etc, any paint as long is it coincides with TORA's livery rules
the only manditory things are the number 95 in a GTE am style box (just use the GTE one from TEC/ISCC and make it orange), and the tribute 'signature' that ATR DAN has made, it is on his store front
the 2 laps will take a while, it's a 60 mph, but hopefully we have a high interest in this

Maybe if this was ran on Friday or another day next week (Just not wednesday evening), then I think you may get more people involved who are doing Le Mans

i know, i meant before the race, at like 1pm BST, or have a minutes silence before the race, idk

or do it during/after the two support races

I like the idea of the Two lap salute, and I was hoping it'd be before, I'm 100% in. Try and get some of the TORA Staff to promote it too, If people find out, they'll want to be a part

i was gonna ask staff, but they have A LOT of work on their hands coming up to qualifying and then race day, was gonna ask if it could be streamed, but too much effort

Well If you just ask one staff member to put up a post about it on the homepage or in the TEC Folder (as it's related) Then more people will be aware

I'd love to be able to take part in this but I am unfortunately away at the Grand Prix, meaning I miss the TORA Le Mans 24 too!

Great to see you're showing your appreciation for the great young dane though.

At Benedict Racing we've added #RIPAllanSimonsen to both of our cars livery's. Nice tribute we feel.

CQR will be running a tribute for sure on the LMP entry, although its a peogeout you may be mistaken for a Aston Art Car.

TORA has something special planned for the start of the race.

so Richy, would you prefer i didn't run this an hour before the race? or can i still run it?
if i can, can someone (not staff as they'll be flat out doing last minute checks) possibly do a stream for it? if not, thats fine, just thought it'd be nice

You can do it if you want, but like you said I won't be able to stream as we have plans for some pre-race build up.
