Let's be honest, I have no confidence, I sucked in both Seasons of the Spec, the fun cup I didn't get to, and my ISCC is ruined anyway! How can I not get a trophy for most bad luck?

You're just suffering a crisis of confidence. TORA is a big place, with a lot of fast drivers. When you first start racing here, you get a bit of a reality check, as even drivers in the lower lobbies can comfortably win any public lobby race (aside from being smashed off) so to come here and find yourself near the bottom is quite humbling to say the least. When me and my friend started here, we always dominated public lobbies, but were fighting tooth and nail not to finish in the last 2 places here! Although TORA was a lot smaller then. I feel I have comfortably became a middle-of-the-pack to lower lobby driver. My only claim to fame here is 3 wins in the NATCC and an A lobby appearance in a GT Season 8 race (running as high as second at one point) most drivers here probably wouldn't believe that though .
If you don't enjoy racing here then what is the point? You'd just be adding unnecessary stress. Take your time, you have to finish low sometimes to relish how good finishing high up feels.

well said Kilroy, signing up and getting straight into the high lobbies is something lucky tbh. when i joined up i was in the middle lobbies and with time have gained my way to the high lobbies (all be it if i have a very good tune)!
