Re: Mini Mayhem General Discussion
If a race is over halfway when a lagout happens, its goes back to the positions of the last completed lap, If it was only halfway into the race, half points should be awarded or a race restart could be called with the race set to the remaining laps of the race.

Wilson I didn't think it was very nice of you to start talking in race 2 about what is about to happen on tora mid way through the race while myself and smokey where going at it up front, ok you might think its ok to talk as you were not in a podium position but for those who where its hard to try and keep your mind on what is going on around with somebody talking ( all I can say is thank you for lagging out when you did ! )
Please have a thought about others who are fighting for a position before you start talking

Re: Mini Mayhem General Discussion
I had a connection like yours once drove me up the wall and I have lost count of all the race wins and championships I have lost over the years due to a lag out
Thanks for not have a moan about me asking for less lobby chatter its just I'm getting old and find it had to concentrate

I find that if you set your hearing aid to movie mode it helps with the lobby chatter

Re: Mini Mayhem General Discussion
As far a I'm aware it has been dealt with and is just waiting for a staff member to clear it.
Problem is that staff attendance is low due to holiday's etc.

If you watch from my perspective it was a valid move as you were well off line. I pulled off the same move earlier in the race with no contact what so ever.
Cheers stewards good/correct decision.

If u hit someone at the apex, smack bang in the side and roll them on roof thats not racing incident. Not off line, wide line for fast exit. ....cqr in front of gamer tag, no action!!

Re: Mini Mayhem General Discussion
Ok, enough gentlemen! This is not the place to do it. Neil, if you have an issue with the Stewarts findings then send a PM to the head Stewart and try to appeal the findings. But, this forum is not the place to argue.
Re: Mini Mayhem General Discussion
I do not know why I find myself again explaining the stewards process but here goes.
When an SI is raised it is posted into the stewards only forum, a steward will accept responsibility for the running of this SI to its conclusion.
The steward can only accept it if he is not related via team mate, personal mate, know affiliation, in the same race or involved in the incident.
The aim is a totally fair and impartial viewing of all evidence and explainations.
From this a conversation is raised as to what two or more stewards think of the incident and only when two or more have the same opinion is it brought before a staff member who will browse the incident to maintain fairness and consistancy of decisions and or punishments administered, he will then sign it off in agreement (so long as he agrees and no changes are made) and the original steward who was dealing with the SI will make notifications to all involved in the incident.
All involved are then given sufficient time to come to terms with the decision and may make an appeal if warranted and enough supporting evidence is submitted.
After this time the decision is posted publically and the matter is closed.
NO teams get preferential treatment of any sort, for every team member and every team there are guys who like them and those that dont, these SI's are carefully screened from time to time to evaluate alliances and affiliations so as to maintain fairness.
I stand by every stewards decision even if I do not entirely agree with the outcome as the process is the fairest application that you could wish for with some difficult situations dealt with fairly.
IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH?
Questions will not be answered sorry, hands full with a billion SI's from the touring car as it seems many of the guys that drove on tuesday have developed vagina's.

Well said Tubbi and 100% agreed but i'm not having CQR brought into it as a reason for preferential treatment and sorry for having a rant back in general discussion....
