BG Cowboy asked the question in the race thread, but that got locked for other reasons before it could be answered.

The rules say the 'end of race' time should be adjusted to account for the pace lap and lobby (eg, if Lobby A cross the line at the end of the pace lap at 2:30. the race should run until there's 12:30 left on the clock. If they cross the line at 3:00, it should end with 12:00 left). This certainly wasn't applied in Lobby G, where we stopped at dead on 15 minutes left - and, from Cowboy's post, Lobby C was the same..

Was it like that for all lobbies? By the rules, those lobbies should have run at least 2 minutes longer than they did, and any higher ones even longer still.

I can absolutely understand if the system was simplified on the spur of the moment as things were running late and hosts were being drafted in at the last minute. I'll admit I'm a little surprised I didn't have a bigger gap to the overall GTE winner, but after doing a bit of maths I can see this isn't necessarily wrong.

Anyway, in the words of Christian Horner, "I'm not complaining, just seeking clarification" Wink

This happened with all the lobbies, it was just a case of the "first-race blues"

Aero is getting the start times from the replays to finalise the results.

That's cool, I'd suspected as much. Thanks for hosting last night, P1 was a bloodbath and that can't have been much fun.
