SBR RWS Electrical
Following what has deemed to be a successful entry into the BTCC and a sucessful racing debut on Tuesday the Third of Febuary the decision has been made by Slider S15 to field his own car in the Seat Leon Supercup. However unlike the BTCC Slider will this time be alone on track as a privateer.
Although he will still run under the SBR name Slider will be running alone as a privateer under SBR RWS Electrical, the name of his main sponsor. The Emergance of RWS Electrical as his own personal sponsor has also meant a change from the traditional colours of his SBR Midnight Runners Honda Civic Type R.
In a recent interview at the Launch of his Seat Leon Supercup Campaign and the Launch of his car, Slider said: "With the backing of my new Sponsor and the support of SBR tuning I feel fully prepared and fired up to make a competitive showing in the Seat Leon Supercup" Adding, "I know i'm still a relative young gun so im not hopeing for miracles but the car similarities will give me the chance to really prove to everybody at SBR, TORA and to myself what im truely capable of behind the Wheel."
RWS Electrical Services is an Electrical Engineering firm owned and run by Slider's Step father. At the launch he said, "We Fully support Slider and know of his driving talents. We hope that Slider's efforts in the remaining rounds of the Seat Leon Supercup will give good exposure to the company."
SBR boss Sam Billing1991 has also recently been asked about his own possible foray into the Seat Leon Supercup, however he has denied the rumours. "As of this time SBR are not planning a serious effort into the Seat Leon Supercup and instead will be concentrateing on their BTCC Programme and upcoming releases." However when asked about rumours that he too has purchased a Supercup car and has been on track testing, Sam again denied the Existance of his own racing programme saying, "That car was purchased and drivn purely as an explorative excercise to help gain information for Slider's Privateer campaign".
However it will have to be seen weather SBR will launch a factory assult on the Seat Leon Supercup however Slider is adamant that he is "going it alone whether a factory team emerges or not". This would also leav a second drivers seat open at the factory team should a factory team come into existance.

Re: SBR RWS Electrical
!!!!NEWS FLASH!!!!
SBR RWS Electrical Services has just signed a lucrative sistership deal with RedBull Racing which will see the two teams test together for future events and for Slider S15 to gain RedBull Sponsorship on his 2009 championship car.
This has of course lead to some slight alterations to the paintwork revealed at the official Launch last week. As you can see from the Pictures in this piece the changes are not too extreme but there enough. Slider said, " I think that this new Sponsorship was just the thing that the car needed to make it look complete."
Slider has also said, "I think that this is definately a positive step for me and the team and a high profile Sponsor and links to an experienced team will most definately be beneficial to my progress in the series and hopefully some success aswell." He Also added, "Its a great honour to be offered something like this in a series where i havnt even turned a wheel in anger yet, however its inspiration to try even harder so as not to dissapoint myself or my new sponsors, but we have to take each day as it comes and remember that i am still a relatively inexperienced young gun and so not to let Expectations run too wild."
Slider and his new Team and car make their Race Debut this Tuesday.
Race Report coming soon....
Re: SBR RWS Electrical
just a quick update on last nights racing where i achieved my Tora personal best finishes twice in one night!
race one i finished 3rd which was a presonal best until....
Race two where i finished 2nd!
Race four i finished Fourth after a long hard fought battle with AJzero before being overtaken by TVR_Fan on the penultimate corner.
All in all a great result for me and SBR RWS Electrical and i await the championship points with baited breath.

Re: SBR RWS Electrical
FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS:
219 Slider S15 - 5th in Drivers championship
220 Sam Billing1991 - 10th in Drivers Championship
SBR - 4th in Teams Championship
This has been greater success than we ever thought possible. Although full reactions and some pictures will be posted up soon i'd just like to take this opportunity to say Thankyou to my Team mate Sam for racing so hard and especially for racing last night.
After the previous round he was downhearted and didnt want to race. But after i told him we were close to overtaking in the Teams he jumped straight in and kept his nose clean providing very important points.
Also I'd Like to Congratulate Slider S15 on his 5th position. It may not sound too great but it means so much to him against such good drivers on a level playing field.
This is doubly so as he is the "Best of the Rest" with everyone ahead of him in with a shout for the title in the final meeting.
A good championship and SBR hope that they will repeat this in the next season if there is one and if not whichever one make, one tune series replaces it.
Thank you very much
