It gives me great pleasure in announcing a partnership for the eighth season of the TORA Touring Car Championship as ATP Wheelwash will be joining the Yamagura Motorsports team for the series in the Yamagura Civic Type R. Unfortunately Tuesday Nights arent the best of night's for the Across The Pond team, as work commitments and real life get in the way. It will also be the first time that ATP Wheelwash will be attempting a Touring Car type series in full, a man thats looking at this as a new challenge and perhaps the last time with the full compliment of drivers in Forza Land.

The Yamagura Motorsport team themselves are out of the comfort zone for this series as well, usually prefering the R Class cars, the team fancied the new challenge of the Touring Cars and having seen ATP Wheelwash as a privateer in the series, and after the excellent rivalry all three had in the first season of the TORA Spec Cup in the VW Golf's, invited the Across The Pond driver as the third member for the series.

Testing is still at an early stage for the opening round at Silverstone National on Tuesday 3rd September, but the paint has now been finished from YMGR Bellmond, a mighty fine job as well and along with Mystic Viibrosis and ATP Wheelwash, they will be aiming to please there sponsors for the series. We would like to thank Tag Heuer for the main support, as well as Castrol Edge, HKS, Injen and NGK, as well of course the back up from Honda Racing.

Wheelwash Racing & Media will be covering the six meeting series on behalf of the team and will be keeping the Facebook faithful up to date with all the latest pictures and behind the scenes information on the run up to each round, which of course you can find at Wheelwash Racing & Media Facebook Page as well as the meeting reports and pictures galore following each fortnightly meeting. No doubt the TORA Forum will be another source for pictures and meeting reports and the Twitter accounts is the one stop shop for the first news quick.

Glad your happy with it Mr Marko and sorry you had to wait two days for your paint but it took me a while to think of a sponcer I had not seen in the game.

Quick question, if a team got permission from a real team, could that virtual team run the replica? Its pretty far fetched, but just curious lol

I doubt it as it is a Motors TV/BBC conflict from what little I know.

For now we would like to just avoid the whole BTCC thing and just stick with our own paints. As I said elsewhere, WTCC, STCC and such other series replicas are ok. The BTCC replica ban is just a precaution on our side as the head of the BTCC has been trying to get BTCC replicas banned from Forza for years, and we could really do without that sort of trouble hanging over us just now if it were to be an issue.

Understandable. I hadn't heard or thought of that reason. Mine are based of Australian V8 Supercars, I assume that would be safe, as there already are AuV8s in the game
