TORA Truck Series Interest?
I'm just trying to get a gauge on the interest in this kinda thing; we'll run the Dodge Ram SRT, and we'll run a schedule like TASCAR. The car details and livery details will be determined if we get enough interest. I'm hoping we can run on a Thursday or Wedensday night say around 4-5 EST. let me know guys!

Re: TORA Truck Series Interest?
A lot of people have talked about starting a Truck series, I did briefly try one in the Fun Cup series using the GMC pickups.
I'd like to give it a go!

Re: TORA Truck Series Interest?
the 'TASCAR Trucks' series was a short-ran 'sub series' for TASCAR a season or two ago. it provided some great racing (there's a pic somewhere of a finish at Benchmark 'D' (the triangular/Pocono looking one), and we used the Ram SRT10's as well.

Re: TORA Truck Series Interest?
Dang see that's some good racing . Plus those are so heavy it puts a real strain on keeping a good line each time. I think it would be a fun little run. As for the races I'm thinking we do like TASCAR but instead of 50's two 35's cause the trucks usually run smaller races anyway.

Re: TORA Truck Series Interest?
So, I'm thinking this is the car we will run.
---------
The Car
2006 Dodge Ram SRT10
The Build
S-650
RWD
953 HP
4,164 lbs
The car will be ran with a single turbocharger, and all upgrades on race. Body kits will be Forza front Bumber and Forza Wing, and Dodge side skirts and Rear bumber. Race tires, and "Outlaw II" American Racing Rims. All assist's will be forced off in the lobby.

I actually have a pretty good A-Class Tune for the RAM...500 Hp and it turns pretty damn good.WEman22 wrote:

Re: TORA Truck Series Interest?
In my experiences, much over 600HP in most production cars in Forza ends up being less than fun to race. Maybe on a Ferrari or Lambo, Viper or Vette, but not on a Ram.
Re: TORA Truck Series Interest?
Last year weren't you going to use the GMC truck? That's a lot lighter and much more like an actual NASCAR Truck than the great big Ram.LMR DarthMario wrote:the 'TASCAR Trucks' series was a short-ran 'sub series' for TASCAR a season or two ago. it provided some great racing (there's a pic somewhere of a finish at Benchmark 'D' (the triangular/Pocono looking one), and we used the Ram SRT10's as well.

When we ran a NASCAR truck series class in the initial fun cup we ran the Syclone, was great little car but found ovals do not work with rookies

Re: TORA Truck Series Interest?
I mean that S class Idea was just that an idea. We have a while to think of what to run plus I wanna get feed back from you guys. The cyclone isn't that good of a racer I personally think. But will figure something out

...i also thought of maybe a 'TASCAR Classics' using the Buick Regal GNX, but that didn't pan out either.Standaman94 wrote:Last year weren't you going to use the GMC truck? Re: TORA Truck Series Interest?
I've never thought of it, but how light can a Raptor get? And is there a RWD conversion for it?
Re: TORA Truck Series Interest?
The raptors DLC that's why I didn't wanna run it :/
And chill, the times will be changed depending on what people want
