Re: TCR GT Revival - Calendar
I liked the 45 minute race last week, but it seems that some people were forced to pit for tires... any thoughts of a mandatory pit stop?
Re: TCR GT Revival - Calendar
We found in our lobby that when the wear got to 10% + the tyres seemed very slippy though still bearable and as quick as the grippy tyres. I believe it should be up to the driver if the wish to pit or not. The other option is to shorten the race length to 30 minutes
Re: TCR GT Revival - Calendar
Can we try the 30 minute race? Forty five minutes seemed a little lengthy.....hands started to go numb gripping the wheel to hard I suppose.

I found it fine at 45 minutes to be honest, if you lost ground it gives you time to make it up again. As for the tyres though, although there was a noticeable difference in grip (even though wear was like 10%), it's being able to adapt to the situation that adds another element to the skillset here.

Re: TCR GT Revival - Calendar
I vote to keep it at 45 minutes as there are lots of shorter races and a few longer races but not many TORA events in the 45-60 m range.
Re: TCR GT Revival - Calendar
45 mins is fine for me, 30 would be also, however an inbetween of maybe two 20 minute races could be fun, not sure if it's worth suggesting though.
I don't mind it as long as the race isn't 2hours long!

Re: TCR GT Revival - Calendar
^ Lots of 2x20 minute races. I'd wager "most" series use a similar format.
Re: TCR GT Revival - Calendar
If that's the case, stick to one 45 then.
Both have pro's and cons.

Fine............ keep it at 45. I'll have the wife massage my hands while I race.
