Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
The only redeeming quality of this so-called "track" is the scenery. Of all the phony circuits, this one by far belongs in an arcade game.
Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
agreed to all of it.
All the tracks T10 has ever made except Tokyo and Sunset are [Censored]. I loved Benchmark but it was nuts

Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
I've grown to love Maple Valley, and miss New York. They are fake tracks with a real life feel to them. The flow of MV is pretty good, and since most street courses have a choppy stop n go nature, NY got that part right too.
Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
^ Yeah, I wish I had been on tORA for TCC back in FM3... the NY round must have been insane.
Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
I did forget about NYC, I loved it when they added the Chicanes
Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
I really like Maple Valley, a very nice track, just those kerbs need to be toned down a notch!

Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
I'm a huge fan of Maple Syrup, I loved Rio in FM1 and the Alpine Circuit was amazing.
Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
Ok, I may have exaggerated on my inital statement.
Of all the T10 Tracks:
Sunset/Nissan Speedway; Excellent
Tokyo; Excellent, just needed a tweak on that tight chicane before the S/F line
Rio; Boring to drive, needed a tweak on that chicane on the long straight
New York; Excellent, loved the chicanes in FM3, wish the long circuit stayed
Alpine; liked it, but that ridiculous hill was dumb
Blue Mountain; loved it, but it needed that stupid crest removed before the kink
Almalfi; Stupid
Almalfi Rally; great but stupid at the same time
Fujimi; Awesome
Benchmark (Sidewinder); Excellent but extreme
Benchmark (not sidewinder); meh
Sedona; RC is STUUUUUPID, Oval is meh
Maple Valley; hate it. It's too flowy
Bernese; dumb but very pretty
Camino; dumb but pretty
Ladera; STUUUUPID
The other one of the three stuuupidoes; STUUUUUPID
Camino Extreme; has the best parts of all the 3 aforementioned tracks, but is still dumb but pretty.

Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
Don't forget the FM1 layout for New York Full, and the FM3 layout for Positano....
Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
Not really. The back section was far more flowing and the end section tighter than the A1 Ring. Absolutely my favourite fictional track though

This was it:CQR Aero wrote:Wasn't that basically the A1/Red Bull Ring?

Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
Funny how the Bernese Alps track thread has been derailed somewhat.
Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
I like Bernese Alps It's a challenging circuit but has some great overtaking opportunities. I also like Camino Extreme, Maple Valley, Sedona (all layouts) & Sunset. I don't know why you all hate them so much, it's not like we ever race there...

Re: CONFIRMED: Bernese Alps (Festival)
Alps is a really good track love it, always go well round there, won a supercup race and LMPC class and got my best season 8 GT results there.
