ISCC Distance Formulas
Hi all
Here's a quick guide to the formulas for calculating the end distances that you can just COPY & PASTE and adjust accordingly.
Please also keep a note of the distances that you record in case they come into question after the race so that we can check them back again.
WINNER:
=sum([Replace this with the number of miles moved up to after the race]*5280-sum([bigger distance to 2nd in feet]-[smaller distance to 2nd in feet]))
OTHER FINISHERS:
=sum([Replace this with the cell number of the lobby winner's distance, eg K21]-[distance in feet to this driver])
NON FINISHERS:
=sum([Replace this with the distance covered in miles]*5280)
NON STARTERS:
Mark their distance as 0
NB - If someone is giving their finish distance in metres/kilometres, ask the driver in front/behind to give their distance to this car, then use the "other finishers" formula, replacing the lobby winner's cell number with the cell number for the car ahead/behind that you're using for relative positioning.

Re: ISCC Distance Formulas
Wow great Tutorial Chris, "Spreadsheeting for Dummies" would be a perfect name.
Will be on tonight to maybe do a practice/test go at it.

Cheers Warspite!
In case anyone's wondering what all the "5280" business is about - that's how many feet are in a mile!
