Strong Rumour: Dover International Speedway (Visually but not officially confirmed)

I saw a thread on fm.net that a mirror image of Dover was used as the background of the new forza store. However when I go to store.forzamotorsport.net I just see a solid black background.

It was confirmed by a few people on the thread that it was there.

Anyone want to have a gander?

Odd choice to be honest. A bit challenging, but actually very similar to Sedona... for which most have a love/hate thing going on.

Not too certain myself on T10 using Dover Speedway.. Maybe they're using the photo to promote the Forza store and won't include it in a future release.

Well I could see dover replacing Sedona oval, which is a vast improvement for the oval courses in the franchise.

Could just be a stock image of course to look pretty. May not relate to the game at all.

The fact that they have reversed it is probably supposed to be a stock image of an oval track, representing any of Forza's ones. I wouldn't go as far to say as it is confirmed in the game.

Daytona is a totally different kind of track.

just because there are pictures doesn't mean that it is in the game, but I would love to have an actual NASCAR track in game. TASCAR on FM5 could get really interesting.

Looking at the textures on the walls and the tacmac, it definitely looks like a computer game, and the sort of style I would expect from Turn 10.

Could be wrong but I reckon this is a Forza image. Plus, why use an image of Dover Speedway rather than any other track, like a stock picture from a track already confirmed. It doesn't make any sense for this picture to be used other than used as a hint. These types of things are planned for months in advance by a company officially governed by Microsoft as part of the info release schedule. Someone would physically had to deisgn this image for a way to promote the store. At some point he picked up the picture to edit it, reverse it and greyscale it. Thhere would be a reason why this was used, and not a "close eyes and point the finger" selection

With all these rumours and announced tracks, it just seems unreal that they are adding so many new tracks to the series since they've seemingly been reluctant to in the past. I'd like it all to be true, we'll just have to wait and see.

I know! Especially when rumour has it that Forza 5 has all tracks from 3 and 4 as well!

Soon there will be more tracks than cars! XD

Forza 3 actually held the record for the most amount of circuit layouts in a racing game I'm not sure if Forza 4 does though... Maybe T10 are trying to win back the title

If all these rumors are true (for the other rumored tracks as well), I may just unbox my XB1 before my move.

Failing that, the TORA Twitch channel will be showing Forza 5 gameplay on release day, especially for those who won't be getting the console before xmas!

TORA Youtube will also have features of the game not included in promotion run up Turn 10 stuff. Going into detail of tuning options, painting options, the career mode, multiplayer options, online features, you name it and I'll do a youtube on it
