ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
Lets finish ISCC off right shall we?!
Unfortunately Warspite won't be here this weekend, so I'm happy to host the lobbies he normally does (considering I hopefully make A lobby!)

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
Can anyone tell me whether people are allowed to change their cars for this race? I was under the impression that you're locked into your car choice once made and couldn't change from track to track.

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
The only way you can change car is by doing what I done in TCC. Which I wouldn't advise btw!
I can host if needed aswell

EDIT: Post deleted as I'm clearly starting an arguement with every post I make these days. Only reason my account is staying active is purely to sign in for races.

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
Without trying to take it off-topic, we are not in for the championship at all, or in for any points, we are in purely to race, and so I myself can help.
If it is an issue, one of us has been asked to replace a driver in the MKR ford for the final race, whilst the other will continue in the Viper.
Just to add, I had no issue running the Viper for the ISCC, I chose the car since I paid for the DLC but never used it, it was my co-driver that was adament on changing, we were allowed on the condition it was not a Vette.
Once again, in to race not for points, and other teams have had car changes outside the window with a points penalty for doing so.

Rules are rules though Chris and changing cars is not allowed so you'll have to go down the sub route.

I was told acceptable with a penalty when other's requested car changes, so why suddenly are we not allowed?

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
First time I've ever had to look over that part of the rules because I got a message sent to me but whoever told you different was wrong, going by what I've read in the rules. It especially doesn't look good for the CT members to be bending rules. Just go down the sub route if you want to change, but I reckon it will kick-off if you do and do we really need more arguments?

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
I'm not trying to get nasty at all Hainsey, i'm just stating we had already requested this a few days after Laguna, with two other Staff members, and they had no issue.
I also asked Mario last night, he had no issue, so why i'm being told by another CT and another BG member it is not allowed, is beyond me.
I see your reasons, but understand ours, we're not in for points, we have permission, and we're not getting in the most competitive car.
I will do whatever, I am more consistent in the Viper so I have no problems running it but my co-driver was the one who wanted to change for the last race, since we only signed up to do the last 2, iv been racing week after week purely for the fun and to help host, that is all.

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
We spoke to Adrian and Louis (seperatly) about the livestream and how awesome it looked to see a 6 car battle, amongst other things we had said Alex and I may be considering helping to repeat that and a ALMS example for Atlanta, since we were not in for the runnings, and what car they'd like to see.
Amongst most examples were Viper, Panoz and the Ford since we were worried Mario and the MKR ford would miss another week, when discussing, both said anything....but Corvette.
I mean I am happy to run the Viper I am just going on morals, however Alex is adament about the Ford since he's spent 2 weeks with me testing and driving it for MKR, so he'll most likely be running to help get their car back on grid with Mark (just not for points)
If the Staff say here now. NO then we will not, but we presumed since others were permitted, and in all honesty, didn't even consider any issues since we knew there were no points involved, so we wern't gaining anything.

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
The reason I'm bringing it up is because I got sent a message last night, along with the rules below and I can't see a way around it other than the sub route (an option that I suggested to you). I get things wrong all the time, we all do and I'm just saying that what you got told was wrong.
ISCC Rules wrote:- Team Car changes
There will be no allowed Car Changes after initial Sign Up. Once you have signed up with your team you are 'locked-in' with your choice and current Driver line up. There will be a 'window' at the half way stage of the season, where teams may change their car choice once without penalty. This 'window' will only be open for one week. This applies to Team Drivers as well, which is detailed in the Teams Championship section
- Team Driver Changes
From the start of the series, the full time driver line up may not change for the first half of the series. There will be a 'window' half way through the season in which Teams and Drivers can change as they please. When this 'window' closes there will be no more Driver changes to the line up for the remainder of the Season.
- Substitute Drivers
For the length of the entire series, a team may make use of substitute driver if a full time driver cannot make a meeting. This substitute driver is eligible to score points for the drivers championship, and the points for the team they are driving for that meeting. A team has a maximum of 2 substitutes per season. Any further substitutes, and the replacement driver will not score points for the team they are driving for. Substitute drivers must be made aware to the series runners before commencing the race meeting itself.

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
I know Hainsey and I believe I may have made errors in updating the spreadsheet, that is why I have not touched it and awaiting a staff member to make sure any further requests in that thread are done correctly.

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
It has been shown that TORA have said no to people changing cars before. You was able to get round one car change with going from a privateer to a team but once in that team you are in that car. If it goes ahead then it would be showing favoritism to CT members and can bend the rules to suit them selfs. The rule got put in place not for the fact of changing cars each week to pick the best car but also for the admin side of things of getting track of all the changes between races, that was one of the main reasons this rule got made. You may not feel it is that bad but when CQR Senna at Season 6 of the TCC had his privateer name as "Pick a new car until I win a race racing" and he was pretty much changing it every time.

Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
I remember chris asking him if he really wanted that team name and he really wanted it lol
Re: ISCC Road Atlanta Nov. 17th
Now I understand, thank you.
One of us will run the Viper, the other will assist Mark and the MKR Car.
Cheers, and see you Sunday.
