Unlucky mate...is it me or has pretty much everyone on these forums had xbox problems at some stage? I know redbeards getting an intermittent red ring of death at the moment too.

Its just shoddy Microsoft gear, thats the main reason. I am on my second one as well, since my old one used to overheat after an hours worth of play, and then I couldn't play it again until like the next day.

sorry to hear that but, hope you get it fixed soon..

And Richy that overheating happend to my xbox also and then it finally got the message on screen saying call MS. so we sent it and they ixed no overheating problems. It lasted pretty good time, considering its two years old..

YEah aggression, i probably could have gotten it fixed by them, but the elite had just came out at that point so I traded the old xbox is saying that it was working fine, and then got an elite in its place Razz

ive had mine a year n half now n im on my first one still. i had 1 red light but it wernt the E74 i think it was something like E68 and all i had to was remove my hard drive and put it back on and it worked lol
