i think he means TCS levels the field a little for those that don't have the time to commit to shave off time without TCS. I maybe wrong but that's what i took from it ;O)

TCS is faster in any prototype or F1 car in Forza. It always has been or the guys at the top of the leaderboard wouldn't be running with it.

You can't say it's time either because they spend days running one track.

IF TCS was indeed slower than no TCS in a F1 car, there would be no rules against it. Heck, the local dirt track sprint car dominator has some form of TCS on his car... despite rules against it.

I'm just going to but in here Razz....

The engine mapping is the same as any other Renault engine on the grid. Apparently Red Bull have been using the kers system to shallow the torque curve of the engine at certain times thus allowing mark and seb to get on the throttle quicker and harder than anyone else on the grid. I think  they either harvest kers power away from the engine acting as a brake or something.

There's quite a lot of evidence for this too; how many kers related issues have Red Bull had this year? This use of the kers system will also put huge strain on the gearbox... for the last 3/4 races Red Bull have consistently changed gear box parts after qualifying!

Anyway back on topic.... T10 sucks and TCS is faster when the power reaches a certain figure compared with the grip

I've never liked the idea of KERS from the start, I knew it would be exploited some way or another. They might as well have giant arrows on the track that give you a speed boost when you drive over them Razz

Anyway, yes, back on topic.

Has anyone looked into the extent of the smashed windows? Do they get cracked or is there more to it? Can the front/rears be crashed too?

All windows can be cracked but I havent managed to get one to actually fall out, had a huge lag smash before I left the line at Laguna which pinned me to the wall car looked like it had rolled over and over from outside but windows only cracked.

Bathurst and Prague is probably the hardest tracks because of the tight walls but it definetly affects your senses.

I think they realized people may be getting tired of grinding their way through career mode. Along with the 50% current car discount the latest forza reward via https://rewards.forzamotorsport.net/en-us/redeem is 4,000,000 credits.

That leaves the problem of what to buy before the 50% discount period ends.

Suggestions?

I got 4m. I guess the only way to 6m is to max out all the old games, either that or buy lots of microtransation tokens for Horizon (which is deplorable).

built an '07 Civic up to TCC/NATCC spec (the build i used in fm4) and the PI is obviously different in FM5. the Civic at 530 in FM4 is now at 607 in FM5

as for the big-CR reward payouts, i'm thinking they're Tier based, as i see some got 4-Mil, & CHRiS got 6-Mil, i signed in and got 5-Mil, and i'm at Tier 5 at the moment..
