Sorry, but they are running a business and extra content that costs to produce can't always be done for free.
As I've said elsewhere, consider this Forza 5 Prologue and look forward to FM6 next season. I reckon that's going to be mega.

I kinda agree with the above post, forza 5 looks amazing, have not yet played it but will be soon, however £40 for a season pass is disguisting and i know it isnt the only game charging this what makes it worst is the cars are crap except the last pack and really them 2 tracks should of been in at launch especially with some of the bigger named tracks missing, on the plus side if they bring the stuff out of horizon to fm6 then could be amazing

You make a very good point mate but... it does not matter as a gamer I don't want to have to of paid £50 for a game that is a half done job... but I will agree with you with Forza 5 is a prologue... but what every way you look at it Forza 5 is still overrated.

I don't think it's overrated, as a sim racing community, we've been very vocal in our criticisms and short falls of the game. I know it's frustrating, particularly as in some respects it seems to have gone backwards from Forza 4, but in many ways it's improved significantly. The two most requested things since the franchise began, F1 cars and Spa, have been added. Unfortunately, T10 were in a one horse race at launch. They had no competitors and we had no choices. Our hands were tied...at least until November 2014.

As a gamer, I don't think any of us are happy about dropping a ton of money on the console & game, but that stubborn race driver attitude we have inside us takes over.

The Car Pass is discounted for XBL Gold users this month - £26.79

If you haven't bought any car packs yet, I'd definitely consider it at that price.

It may be discounted but most people have already bought the car pass. The fact that you pay so much for the console and game and then you have to pay for car packs on top for cars that are just recycled from Forza 4.

Yes, and as we previously mentioned, it only has the Top Gear pack in it, not the whole season pass.
