Race Settings and procedure below -

N12 2013 Race Procedure guide

Race Start

Grid will be set by qualifying positions

Grid will pefrom grid lap

Stint 1 will start under a rolling start where drivers will keep speeds under 60MPH where drivers will form up side by side as they make there way to the pits, as soon as they have crossed the pit entry the lead driver will call "Green, Green, Green", and race conditions will start.

Stints 2 - 6 will start under 1 second roll off in Qualifying order after they have done a set the grid lap (see settings below)

All cars must make 1 pit stop in the stints

End Of Stint

Stint 1 - 5 will race to 1 hour 45 minutes

Stint 6 will race to 2 hours

Distance recording

Lobby host will ask for the following

Lobby host will call out "stop stop stop" at the end of the stint

Lobby host will then ask for the distance of the lead driver in miles (or KM what ever you have set up)

Then will call for the distance in feet (or other unit you have set up) between yourself and the lead driver

so -

2 place feet behind driver 1
3 place feet behind driver 1
4 place feet behind driver 1
etc
etc

After this, the host will instruct the lead driver to drive to the next mile marker then ask for the distance from the 2nd place driver to the 1st place driver in feet once more

Please also keep a note of the distances that you record in case they come into question after the race so that we can check them back again.

WINNER:

=sum([Replace this with the number of miles moved up to after the race]*5280-sum([bigger distance to 2nd in feet]-[smaller distance to 2nd in feet]))

OTHER FINISHERS:

=sum([Replace this with the cell number of the lobby winner's distance, eg K21]-[distance in feet to this driver])

NON FINISHERS:

=sum([Replace this with the distance covered in miles]*5280)

NON STARTERS:

Mark their distance as 0

I will post settings below and ask Chris to answer questions about mile markers.

Now as we have the settings posted, results may a day or so after the event has finished to confirm all distance, what we ask is for the hosts to record all distances and note the following in PM-s

PM to staff - myself, CQR Aero, Richy59, Sbiggs, etc etc
