Welcome to the TCR Sport Classics Series!




These cars, loosely based on the GTU/GT2 class from the 1970s, feature spec builds with limited tuning to emphasise driver skills and close competition. After much testing, retooling and retesting, this series is set to start in mid January 2014.

With a car list ranging from Ferrari and Porsche to Ford and Toyota, there is something for everybody to love.

Fridays at 8PM GMT. Full schedule will be posted overnight.

Tracklist includes: Silverstone International, Hockenheim Club, Tsukuba Full, Motegi East, and Nurburgring GP Short

A mix of medium and short, as well as speed and grip circuits.

I wanted to do six rounds, but with Valentine's Day where Round 6 should be, I may cut it to five. Depends on how many racers need to spend some quality time with their beloved better half.

Yay I can drive the RS1800

After having joined one of the evening tryout sessions I am really looking forward to the series! Gonna be a lot of fun!   Now to sort out which car is best at each track...

Am i the only 1 thats rolled so far? o.O, testing at silverstone and the escort decided to be part of a circus.

Don't worry, during the pre-testing session I joined we rolled some of the cars quite regularly.. Just part of the fun with these cars!   

Rollovers only happen when you are too aggressive with the kerbing. I look at it as "self-penalizing" against corner-cutting.

I agree i was pushing as hard as i could lol, took the first turn to quickly and tightly next thing i know im upside down o.O

Just be glad that maple Valley and Sunset Infield aren't on the schedule.

Rd 6 @ Mugello cut due to Valentine Conflicts.   

Due to excessive rollovers, the schedule has seen some adjustments:

Silverstone National instead of Silverstone International.

Catalunya National instead of Nurburgring GP Short.

Basically, I took out some of the most severe rollover sections of Silverstone, and TORA has always seen some great races on Silverstone National, so that was an easy swap. And since certain cars had issues in the Nurb GP test, I decided to replace that circuit entirely, using Cat Nat instead, as I cannot remember many flips there in the past.

Hey guys, looks like I'll be picking the slack up for Photos from each race depending on who's still active in the Photography department.

When the series starts up, I'll check back.
