When do you think final qualifying positions and lobbys will be announced?
I just really hope I've done my maths right

How can no one validate is on his replay. The other cars from lobby are in their for about first 30 seconds then dissapear.

We're trying to do it ASAP as we want to work hosts out in good time.

As Wilson said, Positions will be published soon, hosts won't affect the Grid but we want all info released at the same time, just concreting each lobby and stint so they will be covered so not to worry.

Because a Replay never saves all the factors in a lap, one being penalities, all drivers are listed according to their lap time with unregistered (dirty) laps moved to the back, we cannot be 100% if a lap is clean or dirty.

I can understand the frustration and can try asking other Staff members back of house what the best Call will be, but its an unfortunate event out of anyone's control that is likely to be disallowed.

XPR Colgate could have dropped out for any reason and I didn't want to drop everyone back to the lobby without knowing if he was going to come back.

Had he sent me a message straight away explaining the situation we could have got him back in the lobby.


Remember, qualifying for this race is only a formality as you are racing every other lobby for the entirety of the race.

I can set up a session to get Colgate to qualify if it's necessary.

as the message to wilson and cowboy directly after qually stated iexperienced lobby split. icarried on a lap to see if an invite came in telling me theyd backed out but as it didnt standard protocol in a lobby split is to carry on. so i did. replay on my storefront titled "TEC Qually" clearly shows the start, the lobby split lap 1, and my fastest lap recorded @ 27:20 on the race time/elapsed time, with a fast lap of 2:03.230. cant think of a single reason that shouldnt be honored.

also validation wise, watch the lap beginning 25:16, tell me if your judgement says its clean, I didnt run a single dirty lap in 45 minutes, but its all good.

No sense in fighting it. You'll never win even though you should in this instance.

I'm not trying to question the rules, and maybe it's a little different from my perspective since Faith put done a ridiculous lap time for qualifying, so my team isn't in the run against those times; but I wouldn't be too happy if I can put a time down that's faster than my teammates to further help the team get into a faster lobby and ultimately gain a few spots for the race because of a lobby split. I understand he should have sent a message asking to get back in, and maybe he should have scheduled an earlier qualification round to be safe if something happens, but I don't see why a fair qualification run can't be set up if someone is willing to host. This can be done for every person who has an unfortunate connection problem.

Online racing has its spontaneous times of disconnection and it is always a disappointment for that particular individual because we have absolutely no control over it.

I don't want to cause an argument, just wanted to give my two cents from a third party. Sorry to hear XPR Moontower.

Plus what if someone signs up for the race today or tomorrow. They have no chance to set a time.

Since disconnections are unpredictable then there is no saying that a higher lobby will mean no problems. It could be a blessing in disguise if one of the higher lobbies has issues.

Not to mention that a fast driver could run almost unimpeded in a lower lobby.

Since someone in the team did qualify it's not like they will have to drive through the pits to start the race and be 1 lap down.

The staff need time to organise lobby hosts for each stint (and possibly backups) as well as finalise the grids for each lobby. Adding in extra qualifying sessions now will undoubtedly delay that process and potentially have a negative knock on effect with the race itself.

P.s. - I think the lobby split ruling is for when multiple cars drop from the main race but stay together in their own separate lobby?


Velox Canadian - Q8, Q9, Q10 & Q11 were all added on to help the European GT series run its final round without impacting too much on the qualifying process for Sebring or delaying the upcoming Season 11 GT Championship. Prior to this, anyone joining in for the race after 23rd March wouldn't have had the chance to qualify anyway.
