TASCAR Season 4 lap times

So, I thought because I had nothing else to do I'd run Some laps
All laps are done in the Chevy and are all 4 flying laps
Sunset Speedway: 44.043
Road America: 2:11.345
Sedona Speedway: 31.4 plenty of time to get because the back end kept stepping out at T2 and T4
Sonoma: 1:16.9 need to make up A LOT of ground (3.5 seconds, really???)
Benchmark C: 35.9
Indy: 50.132
Silverstone National: 57.365
Road Atlanta: 1:25.290 (HOW AM I 5 SECONDS (+/-) SLOWER THAN LAST YEARS POLE???????)
Twin Ring Speedway: 36.521

moral of the story: I am going to have to do great at the speedways to even have a chance at, well, anything
yeah, I know from previous experience in any car, Rd Atlanta and Sonoma aren't my strongest tracks because there is so much flow that I break, but still...

What times have you guys produced?

Did you have the handicap for Sunset? I think I did a 47 there.

The power drop last year coupled with the open tuning netted times faster than the NASCAR guys at Daytona which I was trying to aim for. I've gone back since with the setup I used in round 1 last season with 25% instead of 20, and was a lot closer to the real guys' times

Hopefully a few of those track Records set back on FM3 will fall this season.  I doubt that the Sunset Track Record will fall unless the 25% Handicap is taken off.

I have to agree on the sunset record not falling. Just like Bill Elliott's records not falling

A lor of those were Fm3 which had different physics so were a lot faster

Here are the times I set. Note that I have NOT tuned my cars other than my Sunset car as of yet.

Sedona - 30.750
Sonona/Infenion - 1:16.601

Silverstone - 57.239 - Car SUCKS at this track!!!
Road Atlanta - 1:25.100 with Spilts for a 24.7 or 24.8 until I wrecked on the Last Corner of my last Flying Lap
Twin Ring Motegi (Oval) - 35.678 with prolly 2 tenths left on the board.

that time you got there for Sunset Windcharger, would've put you 6th at Daytona.

45.133 with the 25% handicap

Where would that put me on the daytona grid?

Pole by about 8 tenths.

When we hit the Sunset Oval, do I Superglue my stick to the left or right?

I went even faster in the race at Indy, Think my best ended up as a 47.752

Last Year I done a mid 2.04 at Road America in the race & a 37.6 or .7 at Twin Ring I think

Lol...hey in all seriousness ill give you the tune next time im on. Ive played around with it but there is still room for improvement...especially considering that im still 6 tenths off jgroves

I did some laps yesterday around Road America and did a 02:08.xxx and on Sedona I was doing 30's

39.6 Sedona
Have a real chance there, I did last year before lag ruined neatly everyone's stints
I believe it's everyone's (if not most people's) least favourite round, but it's the one I look forward to the most, besides the main event at the beginning, but that's more for the season starting, not the race
