How did you hear about TORA?: Through discussion at Virtual Motorsports and my current car club, CRA.

Hi all, I am Matt, I am 16 years old currently in my 4th year of secondary school. I am in the middle of my first exam year, so I am racing whenever I get the chance (which isn't as often as I would like unfortunately!). I live in the middle of nowhere, to put it simply, 40 miles from the nearest city, and 20 from the nearest major town. Internet is very weird here, as the weather controls how good my connection is (as you will see in my speedtest.net results!). I enjoy learning about technology, and using my experience in technology to help others. As for hobbies, I build computers, restore cars, repair machinery, create prototype cars on a variety of programs such as 3DS Max and Autodesk Inventor, create animations on Autodesk Maya and show an interest in the general anatomy of cars and motorbikes. I enjoy writing reviews and creating guides for others to use, an example being the tutorial on signing up for a car number on VM.

I have been racing since 2006, starting on Gran Turismo 4, then moving to Forza Motorsport 3 and then 4 as time has moved on, starting to race online when I got Forza 4. I have been racing with Virtual Motorsports since 2012, and I have been a room host for certain events there. When series racing, my goal is to race for fun, and have a good time racing cleanly, rather than racing to win.

There is much more I would like to share with you all, but I should keep this brief! See you all on track sometime soon!   

Here is my speedtest.net result, this was taken on a rainy day when the ground is very damp, hence my low upload speed, it usually sits at 0.9-1MBPS. My NAT is open, so connection conflictions should hopefully not be a regular occurrence! For some reason the tester thinks I am near London, where in fact I am in the North-East of Scotland!

I also have pretty terrible internet but it's not quite as dramatic as yours. I live in town as well, just shows our sheeps wool internet cables can't handles much at all

Yes, well I live in Australia on some of the slowest internet globally which has to travel tens of thousands of kilometers to connect with everyone else...
