2014 Le Mans 24?

Looking at the calendars for GT S11 & USGT there doesn't look to be a free weekend on which to hold this event (unless you are expecting people to run in the series after the endurance race finishes)?

   

Something will be sorted i'm sure, GT S11 may be moved that weekend not sure about USGT as that runs late on Sunday, may do too, will let you know as we approach the time as LeMans will take priority.

So you're not going to sort it out sooner rather than later and give people as much notice as possible?

  

It's been discussed, but not sure on the details. I'm sure a Le Mans will happen this year, maybe just not on the usual date.

Both series run well into mid-August (2 months after the real event).
If there are plans to also fit other endurance races in on either console (Spa, Silverstone, Nurburgring?) it leaves us with a very compressed schedule to end the year.
It would also be tricky to position a longer series to run on Sundays if it would need constant breaks to allow these events to run.

I personally would have liked to have seen it sorted prior to the release of the USGT calendar so revisions don't have to be made later. As that didn't happen, is it not important to have it at least pencilled into the calendar ASAP rather than risk leaving it too late?

Whatever series gets pushed back for it, if at all, the drivers involved deserve to know sooner rather than later.

All series and All areas are under constant discussion, what you need to realise is we need to set a Date where:

A: It won't conflict with any major plans &
B: As many supporting members (Staff/CT's) can help run it, no point setting a date right this second until we consider all the variables, we will announce it LONG before it even starts so I wouldn't worry too much.

As for the "Chaos" link it wasn't even about the Clashing between TEC Q and the EGT, one of the main reasons was there were no one around experienced enough to run it, it was requested to be moved back a week where not only would it help other issues, but would allow someone (myself/Duncan) to be available to manage the evening so its runs.

Im sure LeMans is going to happen, Staff and CT will talk about it as its most likely going to be done by the CT guys with the remaining FM4 Staff lads.

Im not going to go into the EGT/Sebring again, it happened we move on. I know Mark left a gap in the TASCAR for LeMans so we could run it and a USGT/S11 race on Sunday night. Its a option, doesn't mean it'll happen like that.

This is in discussion right now time and date will be soon.

Yep down to forza 4 team they tied up with us gt sure will get back soon confirm date

Dates been confirmed as Mid-June, will post specifics tonight as I'm preparing for USGT today, the section for LeMans should be up publicly by Wednesday.

Mid-June doesn't mean DIRECTLY in the center of the Month, it just means somewhere in the 2 week period, Besides it's the weekend of the 28th/29th, so end of the Month anyway, happy?

Week after would be good we have USGT on the Sunday evening

Will be fun for me as I will have FLMS from 8pm for 3hrs around Lemans then my Stints around and work from 10am sunday morning. Then USGT. I gonna die........  

Can't wait for this. Going to the Le Mans this year so will be nice to compete in TORA's!
