9:30pm BST/4:30pm EDT
Race Meeting Set-Up
We ask that all competitors are on Xbox live at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the race meeting, and appear online. Where necessary, if each competitor could post "In" in the relevant race meeting thread on the TORA forums. Anyone who wishes to race without posting "In" will need to wait for the race meeting organizers confirmation before being allowed to race. Certain factors may come into account, such as if there are 16 people racing, and one person who hasn't posted in would cause a split lobby of 9 and 8 in each lobby, in decision making for those not posted in before the event.
Qualifying
Qualifying for Meeting 2 will start at 9:30pm BST (4:30pm EDT)
- Lobby set to 4 laps. Out-lap, 2 Flying Laps, In-lap. Clean Laps take priority over Dirty Laps, so Make them count!
- 4 second roll off delay per driver for 'Road Course' races
- Limited Damage, Collisions OFF.
RACE
Meeting 2 @ Road America "Elkhart Lake 125" will be 31 laps in length (lobby set to 32 for the Pace lap)
- Limited Damage, Collisions ON.
Rolling Start
Competitors will form up behind the Safety Car to start the Formation/Pace Lap in a 2-by-2 fashion. The Pole Sitter will have choice over which side of the Grid to start on. We ask all drivers to listen to the lobby host for the pace speed and grid order. Once everyone is in position, And the Lead driver(s) pass the Pit Entrance, The person on pole for the given lobby can begin the 3-2-1 countdown when he/she desires.
Mandatory Pit Stops
There is 1 mandatory pit stop in each race (or race segment). Taking your pit stop under a Safety Car/Caution period will count as your Mandatory pit. You may not pit within the first 5 laps or last 5 laps of a race or race segment (First 3 or Last 3 laps at Old Mulsanne layout of Le Mans due to lower lap count.)
Race Rules
Bump Drafting
- Bump Drafting may only be allowed at the Sunset Oval rounds. Make sure the driver(s) you are in a group with know of your intentions to bump draft, be it the lead car or the 'pusher'. Also, "SLAM" Drafting will be deemed illegal and could be penalized. by Definition, SLAM Drafting is where the following car gets such a large run on the car ahead and gives a forceful push to the car ahead. With the Forza 4 physics, these types of hits will easily damage both drivers' vehicles, so it's in each drivers' best interest to know when and when not to draft one another.
Safety Car/Caution Rules
When The Safety Car is Used
The Safety Car will be deployed when Two or more drivers are involved in an incident and severely impairs their progress. Only driver(s) involved in an incident may request the Safety Car to the Lobby Captain. A Safety Car can be called up to the penultimate lap of the race. Once the leader has crossed the line to start the Final Lap, the caution/Safety Car cannot be called.
Forming up for a Safety Car Period
When the Safety Car period is agreed upon, and goes into effect, the Lead Driver at the time of the Safety Car 'Call', will act as the Safety Car and pace around the track at the track's designated 'pace' speed. All will form in single-file. SEEING THE STOCK CARS DO NOT HAVE BRAKE LIGHTS, PLEASE DO NOT SLAM ON THE BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN. THIS WILL CAUSE CHAOS. PLEASE JUST LET OFF THE THROTTLE AND FORM UP CAREFULLY!!!
Conduct During a Safety Car Period
While under the Safety Car period, Those involved in the incident should line up at the back of the grid. All competitors are free to pit under the Safety Car/Caution period, but must form back up in order when they left pit lane at the back of the grid. Once Everyone has rejoined the field, the field will line up Side-By-Side in the positions they are currently in. Once the Leader has passed the Final Corner, he can call out the restart by counting down "3..2..1..Go/Green."
Lucky Dog Award
The Lucky Dog Award is used under Caution/Safety Car periods only. The first person 1 lap behind will be awarded the 'Lucky Dog' to get back on the Lead lap, and allowed to pass the lead cars under caution and lining back up at the back of the field. The drivers involved in the incident that brought out the current Safety Car/Caution period, are not eligible for the 'Lucky Dog'.
"Green-White-Checkered"
The "Green-White-Checkered" rule takes effect when a Safety Car/Caution is called on the penultimate lap. the Final Lap will end under caution in present order each driver is in at the time of caution. Once all drivers are back to the main lobby, the race settings will change to 3 laps, for the Green-White-Checkered attempt. One the 1st lap, will be to form up in order drivers finished the 'Scheduled Distance.' Lap 2 & 3 are green flag laps. If there is an incident on the first green flag lap, the safety car/caution Can be called, and the 3rd lap in this 'attempt' will end under caution, and once everyone gets back to the main lobby, We will have another "Green-White-Checkered" attempt. 3 Attempts are the maximum. As stated above, Once the Leader crosses the Start/Finish line to start the Final Lap, The Safety Car cannot be called.
Race Restarts
The race lobby is subject to One restart attempt if more than 50% of the lobby is involved in a major incident within the first lap. Everyone will head back to the race lobby, and try again, forming up the same as the grid formation before. if another major incident occurs, standard Safety Car rules take effect.
-----Safety Car Speed for Road America is: 80mph-----
.....
***Sign-In Form will close one hour before Race Meeting start time for organization & preparations***

OK I will put a 9 on it.
Just for grins, is it ok if I "duct tape" a 9 over my 41? That would have an old school NASCAR short track look to it.

Re: MSA TORA TASCAR Season 4 - Round 2 - Elkhart Lake 125 - May 17th 2014
I did a similar thing in VM NASCAR in 2012. I was rinning #541, with a ductape 5 in front of my usual 41 font. This time, I am planning on muting the colors of the 41, so the 9 on top of it is more visible
Re: MSA TORA TASCAR Season 4 - Round 2 - Elkhart Lake 125 - May 17th 2014
Shouldn't I be in #9 with Ax4x Hailfire Racing as the team?
Re: MSA TORA TASCAR Season 4 - Round 2 - Elkhart Lake 125 - May 17th 2014

Fair enough, just didn't want my sub status to go unnoticed.

Lag, you are a c**t
I'm sorry for my language but that's the second time that lag has fuc*ed up my race in the first few laps.
Coming into turn one, Jordan was miles in front of me, and the second after I start braking, he's within touching distance and then I lock the brakes and hit him in the rear.
Sorry about that Jordan, but I don't know what more I could have done.
Really pissed because I could have had a shot at top 5, maybe
Once this and USGT is over I'm going to stop racing here because I'm nothing but a nuisance to everyone else who's trying to race, I'm a constant accident waiting to happen and I am thoroughly over that, as would most people I believe

But seriously, can you blame me?
Poofy, Simpsons clouds and 72 degree sunshine. Sometimes I love it here in Oregon.

Dude there are no hard feelings whatsoever man, we were both lagging, Mad Dog told me when he came up to lap me on the last lap that I was lagging a little so I think with us both lagging, contact was inevitable.
Please don't give up on racing here dude, you are quick and are getting quicker and it'd be a shame for you to pack it in cause of the [Censored] that we call Lag!
On a separate note, quite happy to get 8th at least and JUST manage to stay on the lead lap! Rear aero damage really does make these cars even more fun to drive! Looking forward to Sedona

Hey Mikey! Just wiped the sweat off my forhead! What a race! I really enjoyed that, sorry for tagging your rear end a couple of times, shame I got pit manoverd by Blue's AI (no hard feelings Blue!) on the last lap! That was shaping up to be a cracking ending! Really enjoyed that race, why can't they all be like that lol, and thank you so much for keeping it clean, just like always!

1.. you did not Sign-in using the Form that was placed in the OP. It's not my job to hunt down every TASCAR entrant to make sure they want to race.
2.. if you had and missed Qualifying would have been able to race.
3.. it states in the rules to make sure you're online 15-30minutes before the Meeting starts.
4.. your messages were being sent to me as i was getting A lobby going into the race itself.
amendment to #3: that time window is when Invites are being sent out.
