No, it'll be 9pm. On Sunday I came online at 8.45 BST for quali (9pm start) only to be told that it had already happened.

I don't appreciate being talked to like this.    GMT is an hour a head of BST so I'm not hosting a session at 11 o'clock when I have stuff to do tomorrow and said I would host a session at 10 o'clock tonight not 11.

Just to clear up any confusion for when Q13 is

I think the main thing is there is still a lot of ppl that don't get the difference between GMT and BST (and that might be down to whether they observe daylight savings time in their own timezone. who knows)

The hosts from what I see always try to simplify things by setting sessions for GMT so that others can use that time in a timezone convertor etc.

I wasn't there but maybe the confusion before was that the session was set for BST (or at least the host thought it was)



EDIT. Actually, just looking above it's even easier to see how confusion comes in. We have the session 'advertised' as 10 GMT for the entries etc and then mad dog saying the session will be at 10 BST. The counter is set to 2100 BST which is actually 2000 GMT (or UTC)

From reading what mad dog has written, he wants to run the session at 10pm in HIS (our) timezone. which would be 9pm GMT.

The countdown timer may be set to GMT or do a conversion when the time is input, I dont know, but it appears to be wrong either way. (maybe there's a site 'localisation' setting here that I don't know about - and seemingly a lot of others don't either) that would adjust that counter to your own timezone

Anyway, having this session talked about for 10GMT AND 10BST is definately causing more confusion

The timer is 110% correct

then it must be a site 'localisation' setting. cos the countdown is for 9pm BST which is 8pm GMT for those that need to adjust

either way, it's not 10pm in GMT OR BST lol

counter is currently saying 9hrs 30mins and it's 11.30am BST

I dont understand the problem. Its 1135h and the timer says 9 hours 25 mins = 2200 (10pm)

Only issue here seems to be the use of GMT on the original post. Personally I'd just say 10pm UK time, simplifies it imo as a world clock will give the correct time for the UK
