Re: MSA TORA GT Season 12 Lap Times
Somebody informed me that you can cut most corners on this track while keeping it clean, I gave it a go and went a second quicker, the reason I raise this point is because a second could quite easily be the difference between 3rd in A lobby and ending up in B lobby. It was just so everybody is clear on what is and what isn't allowed as I don't want to be sticking to what I believe is the track limits only to find out I'm allowed to go 4 wheels over the lines and set quicker times

I agree Hayden, I know trash did a great job posting up the pics in the race thread.
But it still left some unanswered questions.

Re: MSA TORA GT Season 12 Lap Times
Simply put 2 wheels must remain on the black stuff at all times ,regarding pit exit this is down to the driver and his surroundings if it's clear then cross the line earlier but if there is traffic then follow the red line into turn 1 ,this also applies to those racing if you see someone exiting the pits then do be mindful that they will be entering turn 1 at a different angle.
Another note not everything can be policed during the qualifying or race itself as we're not always able to see what others do but EVERYONE here has the option after the Q or race sessions to watch the replays if foul play is suspected even if your unsure on a matter you can submit a steward inquiry.

Re: MSA TORA GT Season 12 Lap Times
This seemed to go from "anything goes other than cutting corners", to "stay in the red lines" in a hurry. At first, it was said we could go wide on turn 1 even. Thats all fine by me but my question is about staying in the red line thats on the right of turn 6/7. I've never seen ANYONE not go wide all the way to the wall. Not sure why there is a red line there to be honest!

Re: MSA TORA GT Season 12 Lap Times
Trash did a good job in the thread of what corners are allowed and not, T1 is exception, but you have to give way to cars exiting pits by staying on the forza racing line. Only 2 days cany wait!

F**k it then, if there's not a picture of it I shall proceed to take the quickest line possible. I'm not getting mugged by people because I'm doing what I think is right. End of discussion.

Agreed. I seriously doubt this turn was considered when "stay in the red lines" was mentioned. Like I said, I have never seen people stay in the red here. Hell, a lot of people didn't even KNOW there was a line, lol. But just to be on the safe side, I figured I'd ask. I'll have to get some serious practice in to change my line if we are to stay on the inside. Here is a pic of the line I'm talking about.

Re: MSA TORA GT Season 12 Lap Times
There is no advantage to be gained from going wide there so fair play ... nice pic too
Re: MSA TORA GT Season 12 Lap Times
i found i was slower going wide in that corner tbh. i didnt even know that red line was there either.

Re: MSA TORA GT Season 12 Lap Times
HA! Yeah most people don't even know that line is there, lol. Yeah, it doesn't necessarily make you "faster", but it is "easier". You don't have to nail the corner as much as you would have to if there was a wall where the red line was. Thanks for the clarification. When I saw the post about all red lines, I crapped my pants cause I suck too bad to stay inside that line. I need every inch I can get, lol.

15.1 Need to sort out some of the springs and I need to sort my line out through the bumpy bit (where the kink should be)
