What does everyone want to do for the Silverstone Round of the TORA GT?
General Poll - Silverstone GP
OK Guys.
I apologise if this doesn't work because I've never created a poll before! #lol
But basically, you can decide the fate of our Silverstone round of the TORA GT Championship. This is open for 6 days so please find the time to cast your vote as to what is the best solution for the community as a whole.

Voted option 3, Yas Marina is a terrible track anyway.

If option 3 went ahead would we have to re-qualify?

Normally, we don't! But I think under these circumstances, it might be something we'll have to think upon.

Re: General Poll - Silverstone GP
If option 3 wins I think youd HAVE to qualify again. Otherwise, youd be taking another race away from those who couldnt race today but were planning on racing Yas.

I have voted to re-run the track but those that were available for the race should be on the upper hand. Maybe keep qualy as it stood with new participants filling in from the back PLUS those that were dropping the next round maybe award points based on qualy. it is a tricky one but appreciate the community input here as well as he staff response. Its this kind of involvement that keeps me coming back here
Re: General Poll - Silverstone GP
Like I stated above, I don't think you can "reward" those that turned up yesterday if you REPLACE another track. Otherwise, those that couldn't make yesterday, but were planning on being there for the rest get penalized twice. If you are going to use the existing qual or reward people from yesterday, then it cant interfere with the rest of the schedule.

Re: General Poll - Silverstone GP
Well looking at this poll, and taking into account a bunch of variables I think it should fall to the organiser to make a judgement call on this. Appreciating that Mr Trash is stepping down at the end of this series I think it as he has organised this event he should make the decision...... and soon so we can get back to prepping.
We have 3 reasonable options up there but I would say that there is not enough of a gap to be 100%. I happy enough to say that I voted for option 3 so im not looking at this from a loosing position and moaning just trying to consider those that were there to race, qualification times, the effort already invested in getting ready for silverstone etc etc etc.
As I mentioned when I suggested a poll I think it should be used as a guide and the ultimate choice should be from the staff/ organisers, I also believe that qualification times should stand for silverstone (despite mine being half a second slower than usual) and i think we should all race at a mandatory 30 mph so that microsoft's servers can cope.

Re: General Poll - Silverstone GP
I agree with Many for leaving it to Staff as with the ultimate decision.
But might suggest seeing that option 3 is a possible favorite, why don't half points get awarded for those that did show up and qualified. And then start from scratch on the 26th so we don't penalize anyone moving forward.

Re: General Poll - Silverstone GP
My phone won't let me edit, but wanted to add that because it half points, it may become a drop round score for some. so you could have the table to exclude the half point round?
Just a thought..

Makes sense, i know we allow a drop round so maybe alter it as a one off and have everyone drop one and a half rounds for this season. Id be ok with that
Re: General Poll - Silverstone GP
Option 1. We made an effort to turn up and get as far as Xbox Live would let us.
