The Ferrari F40 is one of, if not the, best supercars ever made. Sure, it lacks in, well, pretty much everything on the dashboard, and the door handles are made of string, but when you get to drive it on the open road, all those loses are worth it. It was released in 1987, a year after Porsche's famous 959, and being Italian, Ferrari had to one-up the German rival, so they built a 201 mph supercar and it took the world by storm. The F40 carries a 2.9 L, twin turbocharged V8, producing 478 Horses, with 16 psi of boost. the F40C carries a much more powerful 2.9 L, 780 HP Twin Turbocharged engine which will propel the car to 190mph down pit straight at Circuit De Catalunya while producing one of the most amazing noises through the exhausts. Although, only 1,300 F40s were produced, and to buy one new today it wold cost all of $840,000, I think it's safe to say that the Ferrari F40 is one of the most desired cars in the world.
