The only real way to not get burned by this is to drive manual without clutch.

Well after hearing all the good reactions after last night, decided to give into temptation and sign up. At the moment I should be able to do the Indy Road course and more importantly the 500

Re: TORA IndyCar Series Discussion Thread
Race 1 in A lobby was a joke. It felt like a public lobby. What I expected to happen due to cosmetic damage being off happened. No risk of damage so drivers were attempting ridiculous attempts to overtake.
Believe I was divebombed 3 or 4 times with not even a call out from the driver attempting the "pass" (If you can call it that). Lost track of the amount of times I was hit up the arse and forced wide in a corner, Or forced down an escape road. Have to say that was the worst TORA event I've ever taken part in.

agree for the most part. race two i was getting dive bombed an at one point spun out by an attempt on the single file fountain corner. i could see why indy 500 will be cosmetic but not long beach

Re: TORA IndyCar Series Discussion Thread
As I said last night, I do apologize for the leaders getting caught up B Race 1....I was calling it two or three times, tried to get out of the way... then BOOM! Of course, I was yelling back when I got yelled at...then I looked down, said GD it and UNMUTED the damn mic.....
EPIC FAIL!!!
Those in Lobby B Race 2 saw what I REALLY do when I am being overtaken... I got the hell out of the way. Long Beach is just NOT for me! On to the next track.... and all will have HELL to pay when I get to an oval! LMAO

For both of you, you may file a stewards inquirey if you so wish, crashes regardless of the damage mode can still be looked at and if it calls for it drivers can still be penalized. However When i made the rules for cosmetic for this round i was doing it to protect people from others mistakes where should someone miss their braking zone and take someone out (as there is no where to go besides a wall) the person getting run into wouldn't have their race completely ruined. At the same time last night people didn't call out their passes why i don't know and that again falls on them where you can once again file a stewards inquirey. I'm not saying you guys are wrong to voice your opinions, by all means please do! but do know the rule was made to protect the innocent victim for here, bathurst and indy under the circumstance people would still be smart and call their passes

Re: TORA IndyCar Series Discussion Thread
This is a funny car to tune... Go up 1/10 on one spot, kill yourself on another area. lol. Goal will be to make it drivable and see what happens. I will be doing a lot of communicating! Lmao! The hardest part I have had is braking pressure. I usually run at 75-85 percent, but even that locks up the brakes with a slight touch...
I won't have to worry about brakes at Indy! Lol

@7:10 PM Eastern I RickyTan I has sent a PM requesting to race in tonights race at Road Atlanta. Me as race director and series organizer will give permission to race however, RickyTan will have a 3 second penalty added onto his qualifying time as he did request within a reasonable time after sign in's. BE WARNED: THIS WILL NOT BECOME A REGULAR THING AND PENALTIES WILL BECOME MORE SEVERE FROM HERE ON OUT REGARDLESS OF WHO YOU ARE!

I can guarantee it is not the only issue tonight, but it is a core problem for sure. I know my system failed to auto-download the update since my power went out last night, but I was still in a lobby with others who had already updated. Again, it's no doubt it has caused major issues, but it's not the whole problem.
