LOVE the diablosport logo! Is that shared? Most of my friends have DS tuners on their Challengers. They have older ones though and DS didn't have one for my year when i was looking to get one. Now I can't afford anything! UGH!

extracted from the diary from last week, or put another way, im being very very lazy in only writing up one piece to use in many. First up the TORA US SuperStock Challenge, which starts on Tuesday 27th January, part of the new TORAus range of events, to suit the North American markets. A very early release in the paint department this one, but due to impending pitter patter of tiny feet, it had to be sorted as free and time are two words which wont be put together over the remainder of January in the house Of Moo.

The series is roughly based on the Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge, which you usually find on the under card to the Tudor Sportscar events during the course of the year and in the great ATP tradition, the car selection process involved absolutely no testing what so ever, instead the element of something different to race, something to base a replica paint off and a self selection element, instantly ruling out handicapped cars in all series, due to the extra hassle during practice and tuning. The two drivers signing up instantly for the full campaign,  ATP Jeep, a self confessed Chevrolet arm of the GM name anorak. Who likes his beef branded with the Made In USA  as often as possible, longs to hear the V8 burble rumbling through his bones and then myself, ATP Wheelwash, who seemed to have been born on the wrong side of the pond, due to his love of Baseball, NASCAR and admitting to actually know the rules of NFL Football, he too is a self confessed anorak to an arm of GM, but the now defunct Pontiac side, which are basically Chevrolet's, but the much better looking and younger sister. I prefer my beef still living, but heavily tattooed in a range of references to the Skinhead culture of the late 70's early 80's, although happy for the Made In USA, Canned In Scotland tag, also longs to hear the sound of a V8 burble rumbling through the bones. The car of choice then?





A Nissan 370Z!!

Yep, thats the ATP car selection process at its very best. The Chevrolet carries a power reduction, which is an automatic no in ATP, a sort of unwritten ruling amongst the team due to lack of time able to practice and tune in many cases. The other piece of the USA, being the Ford Mustang, but with the anniversary in 2015 of Ford's most famous Pony, we are currently working on a Mustang series ourselves for later in the year, we decided to look elsewhere, Germany is as popular as babysick in the house of Moo (i do have some standards), it meant a Nissan was left and the weapon of choice.

With the opening round not till the 27th January, the process of tuning and logging laps hasnt started yet, i will be honest, i havent had chance to even send Jeep his paint across either yet, but come race time, we shall be ready, probably slower than most, but the challenge of Long Beach is always enjoyable.

Oh, and yes, we have checked the brakes after this last year
