***EVERYONE MUST UPDATE THEIR CONSOLE***

Microsoft just released a system update, and it hasn't been properly pushing itself to everyone's systems. Major issues arose today during the IndyCar championship since some people had the update, and others did not. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that everyone has their system up to date and ready for Silverstone to avoid as many issues as possible. To ensure your system is up to date, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Home screen

2. Press the menu (start) button on your controller and go to settings

3. Go to the "System" tab

4. On the left side, it will either say "No update available" or "Update system"

5. If it says "No update available" your system is up to date, if it says "Update system" you must download the update before racing

Even if you recently got an update for your system, please take a second to quickly double-check that there are no updates that you need.

There is also a controller update for those that use a chat adapter, but this will not affect chat or network performance so it is not mandatory.
