Twitch

Just wondering if this is going to be streamed on Twitch?

Maybe, its a real unknown at this point. It really all depends on if Zeta can get off work for those days.

If not, their will definitely be footage within a day or so...

was notified about streaming TCC a few minutes ago. With work how it is I can partially commit to live streaming this event, if that's alright?

Um, most likely can offer assistance for the event today. Still checking out my capture card update. Will keep you posted.

Hi folks,

as you saw there was no live stream for round 2. Why? work schedule conflicts.
I will be keeping an eye out for replays from a full session of Lobby A and if time allows it, the other lobbies for prerecorded sessions.

Round 3 we will be back to our regular scheduled live stream. Round 4 is a no go and the finale is up in the air.

You were missed dude. I had a couple of people trying to tune in lol
oh well, there will be replays and there is also next week which should be fast and furious! lol

I uploaded all 3 of the Lobby A races yesterday.
There was only 2 Lobbies.

Think i might have to pay you to put replays of me and my efforts on you tube.
For some pain in the ar$€ reason when i save replays it messes with my console usually ending up with the entire lobby not having paints in the next live meeting followed by a lag out.
Is almost add though the console can't manage to do more than one thing at once (it must be working at mcdonalds)

if you guys help me to set it up and il stream

I could add additional coverage for Round 3 and cover Round 4 in your absence Zeta.

I would normally choose to race but they are 2 of my least favourite tracks.

Can't help out with the last round though.

Naw I don't need to be paid for free services there Tubbs. I'll try to get you whenever I'm not focusing on another mid/rear-pack battle. Road Atlanta had some great moments. Also, suckage about the replay thing. It might be the console after all..

The items you will need are:
- A reliable Capture Card and a PC strong enough to handle additional software.
- For fancy template adding, the recommended choice of Streaming software for Twitch is Open Broadcast Software unless your capture card can connect to Twitch right off the bat.
- Your Twitch account and stream key for your capture card and said software above if it's needed.

Youtube has plenty of online tutorials on how to setup your capture card. I'm only experienced with the Roxio HD game capture card. Elegato and Happague are foreign to me. Each person's pc specs and internet connection are different so there is no absolute way to give the best setup without self trial and error.

I am not trying to come off as a pretentious [Censored], I had to be self taught and I'm not even close to having it down perfectly.

cant you stream from console

If you're going to stream on the 360, you'll need to have the capture card hooked up to both the console and PC.

The twitch app is only available for live streaming on next gen consoles for next gen games.

for hooking up a Roxio or Elgato or w.e Capture Card you have look it up on YT how to connect it all up its so simple shame my PC cant handle it

I'll be streaming this Friday races. Whether people want to watch b/c lobby is a different story.

Twitch doesn't allow someone in the race to watch later does it though zeta? Id like to watch the races I'm in but that be hard if I'm racing lol

You can set twitch to automatically archive your broadcasts.
For all 'regular' users they will then stay there for 14 days. E.g. past TORA streams are at - http://www.twitch.tv/TORAonlinemedia/profile/past_broadcasts
You can then export from Twitch to Youtube and keep them for as long as you want.

OR

You can normally configure your software to save a copy of what you stream locally as it is streaming.

oh ok wasn't sure how it worked never messed with it.

Or watch the replays on the Forza Storefront, if they are uploaded by anyone that raced.
