Re: Stewards Inquiry Results for Meeting 6
Again as stated before, the stewards were not happy with the general level of conduct at Meeting 6 of The TORA SEAT Supercup.
There was a distinct lack of respect for fellow competitors. We are here to race, not play bumper cars. Whist it is accepted on Tin Top Tuesdays, that 'rubin is racing', it was felt by the stewards that the incidents under investigation were not in keeping with TORA's definition of Racing Etiquette. In addition, whilst the issue of lag was present during the meeting, the stewards did not deem it to be a complete defense to the incidents under investigation. The stewards feel that the following rulings must be made so that such incidents may be prevented in the future.
Here are the rulings;
Incident 1 Ruling - 10 point penalty for car number 4, for causing an advoidable incident and taking car number 47 off the track, which resulted in further incidents, during Round 16.
Incident 2 Ruling - WARNING for car number 52, for using car number 14 as a break, impeding the competitor and thus gaining a position, during Round 17.
Incident 3 Ruling - WARNING for car number 45, for dangerous and erratic driving, during Round 17.
Incident 4 Ruling -10 point penalty for car number 220, for causing 2 avoidable incidents, during Round 18.
Incident 5 Ruling - 10 point penalty for car number 219 for causing an avoidable incident and taking car number 14 off the track, during Round 18.
Incident 6 Ruling - 10 point penalty for car number 4, for repeatedly bumping car number 10, causing a loss of full control and therefore resulting in a collision between car number 10 and 14, which was foreseeable by car number 4, during Round 18.
AND - WARNING for car number 10 for not taking avoiding action after being hit by car number 4, and therefore taking car number 14 off the track, during Round 18.
n.b
A - Points penalties will be deducted from the respective races the infringements occurred in.
B - Where a competitor who received a points penalty, also finished on the podium, no Hall of Fame points will be awarded to them.
C - Warnings are not appealable.
D - Points penalties are appealable, however if the appeal is unsuccessful after further review, then the penalty will be doubled.
E - All competitors awarded either penalties or warnings will be placed on a Steward's Watch List and further infringements in the near future will result in larger punishments.
F - Penalized competitors my ask the stewards personally for further explanation via PM.

Re: Stewards Inquiry Results for Meeting 6
Car number 219 (Slider S15) has logged an appeal against the ruling of the Stewards regarding incident 5 during Meeting 6 of the SEAT Supercup.
His grounds for appeal are;
1 - AJzero was the one he took off the track and AJzero was one of the stewards for the event. Therefore he is claiming ''that judgement may have been clouded by the personal feelings and objectives''.
Ruling - Dismissed, on the grounds that, the two other stewards, jenson09 and KR15 ONE independently judged the incident. And were penalized themselves during the inquiry.
2 - ''Secondly i feel my penalty is unfair in light of the penalty issued to the 220 car of Sam Billing1991. I feel it harsh that i was given the same penalty as he was as i only caused one accident in the eyes of the stewards where as he caused two. ''
Ruling - Dismissed, on the grounds that, the stewards took a view that for an incident which resulted in a car being taken off the track, a points penalty would be given. Where a competitor was impeded but not actually removed from the track, a warning would be given. Sam Billing1991 impeded separately two competitors within 2 corners and therefore should have received two warnings, which was converted into a 10 point penalty.
Appeal Ruling - Dismissed

Car number 4 (Chaddy2K8) has logged an appeal against the ruling of the Stewards regarding incident 6 during Meeting 6 of the SEAT Supercup.
His grounds for appeal are unclear as his appeal message is written in 'text speak'. However from we can gather he believes that;
''i had no chance of not hitting kris''
The stewards do not deem this as an excuse for causing a collision when the results are foreseeable as admitted by the competitor.
Appeal Ruling - Dismissed
In addition the competitor broke one of TORA's etiquette rules - Insulting comments of any nature towards the stewards is unacceptable.
For this, the competitor will be excluded from qualifying from tomorrow's race.
