November 6th, 2015 - Round 4 Sonoma Indy, 25 Laps = 100 Miles 

Qualifying Lap Record- Xx VenomTDI xX- 1:42.341

Quallifying- Qualifying will be 15 minutes in length. After 15 minutes expire drivers are to finish the lap they are on and meet up at turn 1 for time recording. ONLY CLEAN LAPS WILL COUNT! Dirty laps will place drivers at the back of the field. Should there be more than 1 driver recording dirty laps they will be placed in order on lap time.

Race - Will be grided in qualifying order and will race to the completion of set distance for the race. Race winner will be determined by the the driver finishing the set distance in least amount of time. Anyone in any lobby can win the race overall but to make a distinct advantage to higher qualifying drivers each lobby will be separated by 5 seconds in total time. 

As pit stops will be happening this season, usage of the extra track leading into turn 1 that is the pit exit is prohibited from use! People exiting pit lane keep to the pit lane until after the kink.

A heads up before tonight's event guys. Earlier this week Turn 10 released an update that removes "inactive" drivers from the race. What this means is that if you're stationary for more than 30 seconds, you're going to be automatically removed from the session.

TURN's Master series earlier this week in the BAC Mono suffered 3 drivers getting dropped due to inactivity in the middle of the race, while they were racing. Not sure what the reasoning is to that, but just something to think about for tonight.

For qualifying though - when you have crossed the line on your last lap in the 15 minute session, rather than pulling over, please continue to driving at 60 - 100 MPH. You can get up to a comfortable speed on a straight, pause and screenshot the Q results while the car coasts, and then carry on. If drivers pull over after qualifying, they will most likely be booted from the session, which will make a mess out of trying to grid the race by best Laptimes of the previous session.

This also means that during the pace lap, it is most important to stay moving and not to come to slow crawl or stop.

Would it be helpful for the start of the pace lap to do a 1 second delay to prevent from bunching up and possibly causing a disconnection?

Possibly, as long as the lobby can be set on the grid in the order from qualifying.

If people drop out during qualifying, then most likely not. It will be up to the drivers then to sort into position on the pace lap. Which means everyone should take a screen shot of qualifying and know where they're starting!
