What is your definition of a round? Is it a single race, a single series, what?

As in one night of racing, so say a champ is 2 races per round / night, if you score points in that round / 1 of those 2 races, that will be classed as a round, I think the smallest championship is 5 rounds so we thought that would be a fair way of making sure all numbers are used as we keep running out of numbers. Just seems like an easy way of filtering those who still register for a series, then don't race or race only a few races in it.

So for someone like myself that can only run during the week, so wouldnt be entering a Sunday Series for example, would #16 be available for that Sunday series as its not being used. Sorry for the questions just seems that a personalized driver number will no longer be the case, iinstead be a series number.

Also, as an example, the recent TCC series, i could only make three rounds due to being in hospital, so i could lose my number for the following series in TCC, isnt that discouraging drivers who can only make a round or two

No sir, I think you may have misinterpreted.

You have #16 for TORA in general. We're not going to have different people with the same number in different series.

What we're doing is making sure those that have numbers actually race. Those that don't will lose their number.

Sorry but this quote is already huge, but just to add, we may not need to clear out people that have only raced in say less than 5 events, it all depends on the demand for numbers. At the minute we have 330 drivers wanting to keep their number, 310 of those actually raced last year and as we have 4-999 (996 number) that's 686 going to waste, so you can probably appreciate why we would do this.
