During post race practice, I discovered that in my hurry to complete my build on short notice, I overlooked an aspect of the required parts. I ran with 15 inch wheels instead of 16 inch wheels. My apologies to my fellow drivers. If a DQ is necessary, then I completely understand.

Normally an illegal build would carry an automatic DQ if an official SI was filed with the stewards. Since you freely brought forth your mistake on your own, and did not gain any mechanical advantage, I don't feel a DQ would be appropriate at this time. Unless an SI gets filed I think we can overlook this infraction and keep it among ourselves.

Anyone involved in this series who feels otherwise, please PM myself or Neo and we can discuss it further.

Thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt, Mako. In running practice for Sonoma with both 16in and 15in wheels, i was running extremely similar lap times. Needless to say, I have made the appropriate changes, and have changed no other parts of my build as per the series regulations.

I just want to pitch in to say thank you to all, it was a fun race. I know I am very slow, it was my first ever event and I know I must work harder to be faster. See you all at Sonoma!

In prior versions of Forza, there was the capability of gifting cars, vinyls, tunes, etc. This permitted an inspection to be carried out of each driver's car prior to turning one lap on track. Inspection would have caught this oversight. Since the error was self-reported and, theoretically, did not materially alter the results, no penalty will be levied. This was the first race and first error.

In addition, if you do not receive an invite by 20 minutes to the hour, please send an XBL message. My standard of practice is to send an invite to every driver whether or not they have stated they are "IN" for the race. So, in theory, no one should not see an invite or multiple invites. I apologize to grimlin38 for missing last week's race.
