Spec Cup Media

Im of an age when the Mini was a small car, many uses and the motorsport world. It was never intended to be a superstar, just a simple car that did the job of life pretty well.

Unfortunately those days are long gone, BMW have destroyed any credability of owning a Mini and well, its the size of a small truck these days after the Germans decided to add a few pounds here and there.

Now its like a fat lass at the discotheque, so since i had made the logo back in Forza 5 for Dunkin'Donuts, it seemed the perfect opportunity, the donut that makes your arse fat with enough sugar to have a real lag issue through being on a sugar rush trip.



Its a shame that the Germans didnt buy anymore of the old Austin collection, the Maxi would been a far better option, built to a high specification, well when they wasnt on strike that is!!

A few pictures from Lime Rock last Wednesday, unfortunately the body decided to break on Thursday morning so apologies for the lateness. A rough night all in all for myself, i seemed to be a ticking timebomb and in the way of most of the field at points during the races, a field which seemed to be Benedict Racing Vs the MVG guys in the main.

Unfortunately i havent had chance to race this week, but a photo catch up is on the cards while watching various motorsports throughout the evening, currently night one of the World Of Outlaws from Stockton, anyways, back on track. The Spec Cup was in Le Mans last Wednesday, for a night race around the Bugatti Circuit and heres a few photos of which im not very good in the dark, my virtual camera flash is rubbish!!

The penultimate round of the TORA Spec Cup saw the Mini Coopers at Watkins Glen, for two races over the Short Circuit and what an inspired choice of venue for the tin top terrors. For myself personally, slight contact in Race One had me sideways losing a whole bunch of positions, but a solid run there after saw a seventh place finish.

Race two was one of the best races i have had in 2016 so far. A battle for third between myself and HellsCreatureUK for pretty much the entire twenty laps, nose to tail, positions changing on plenty of occasions throughout the race and all done in the way it should be, so a big thank you to the MVG man and another race of excitement at Watkins Glen, which over the Short Circuit does provide some cracking action and even though i missed out on a podium spot by 0.059 seconds at the line, i cant complain!!
