What's on your mind?

Why are mechanical failures off? It seems to be an endurance race and I think people shouldn't have any chance to use exploits as closed radiators.

I hope I get my wheel until then. Otherwise no chance with the tyres

I simply don't want RNG to pull someone out of a race they've been running for an hour or so. There are already enough variables to balance with fuel, tires, and damage. When we're in qualifying I'm going to remind everyone to close their radiators so they don't fall behind.

TechnologicMau5 thanks for creating a much needed PCars endurance race! I wish I could be at home and help out with this project. If everything goes well, please contact me so that maybe in the near future we can create an even longer event. Maybe replicate a 6 hour, 12 hour or even a 24 hour event. Cheers!

Evan are we doing a qualifying session at first to set up who's in each lobby, or are we running in the lobby we are down in on the registration list?

Since this is basically a trial run, I was originally just gonna do order of signups, but I'm thinking of changing it. At first, I wasn't gonna cap the cars, so I wasn't concerned about where everyone started, but then I figured we should re-test the BoP for upcoming series' after all the changes since BGT. I'll post an update to the procedure tomorrow. I Honestly wasn't expecting so many signups

Can we change cars before the race? I haven't raced on Project cars at all, so im still learning the game along with trying to find a car i like to drive.

As long as there are entries available for that car, you can switch at any time before registration closes.

You haven't missed much, terrible lagging, to the point where I DC'd and the race started without me... Not attempt to try and get me back in... Not happy, I was really looking forward to this event... Clearly wasn't meant to be

He tried to re invite you but it would not let him as the session was so close to finishing.

Lag bombed 20 minutes in.

TechnologicMau5's race pace early on was impressive. Bentley lost over a second in race trim.

There is, when the game allows. Within the last 3 minutes of the sessions, it doesn't allow anyone to join, nor be invited. Nothing the host can do at that point.

Thank you guys for helping me out with this. Considering the main purpose of this event was to find issues and figure out how to be prepared, I'd say it went fairly well. That being said, here are the major points I found that need to be addressed going forward:


1. Damage settings should be set to off, as lag damage quickly eliminated competition for a few drivers, and continued to decrease the overall competitiveness of the race.

2. P.CARS does not display results for racers who dropped out, as I previously thought, so I only have results for those of us who finished. Going forward drop outs should be tracked by host as is already practiced on Forza 6.

3. We should withhold any P.CARS races until 16-person party chat is fully introduced, as the current cap is still 12 even with XBPreview.


Thank you all for your patience and interest, it has helped a lot with determining how P.CARS will work in the future.

That's fair play, but a courtesy message would've been nice... Just even to say 'oh sorry, the game doesn't allow invites after a specific time...' Takes a few minutes

Sorry, but at that time the race was starting and I had my hands tied. I informed Mr Driv3 to tell you as he mentioned you were still in the party. It's apparent that it's something we need to be mindful of in the future.
