TheDSRL Formula 2000 UK Championship

Welcome to the DSRL Formula 2000 UK Championship!

This championship is run on Project CARS using the XBOX One Platform. The championship is a single make championship utilising the 'Formula C' single seater. With a very low power to weight ration, these bespoke formula cars are lightening fast from a starting start, aerodynamic wings and racing slicks make them corner at extreme speeds and vented brakes bring the cars to a stop in very short distances. Powered by a normally aspirated 2 litre 4 cylinder engine push out just under 300 bhp which is coupled to a 6 speed sequential gearbox.

The championship will by run over 8 rounds and feature 24 races, 3 races at each event. Visiting Snetterton, Cadwell Park, Brands Hatch, Silverstone and twice to Donington Park and Oulton Park. Each round will contain a 15 minute qualifying session followed by 3 'sprint' style races and each is run between 29 and 31 miles. So races will be fast and furious.

There will be 22 spaces available for this championship and for the first time on TheDSRL will be open for competing teams. There are 8 spaces for 2 car teams and also 6 spaces for a privateer championship.

To add to the challenge for drivings these cars, the only drivers aids that are allowed are automatic gears.
