VTCC America - A New Adventure!!

Its like Friday Night's, just in American Primetime!!

We have been asked if a midweek series would be possible, run in the same way as the Friday Night's, a more laid back and fun group of series, where we have a chatter, a race or two and well, it was hard to say no really!!

So commencing on Wednesday 13th July, at 21:00 EDT / 18:00 PDT / 02:00 BST, the UK time being very early Thursday Morning, we shall have a group of series to suit the drivers across the pond, as well as the nocturnal creatures in the UK & Europe.

Livery Rules & Regulations

We fully understand that the lack of gifting and sharing of paints is no longer a straight forward process, especially for the teams, so we make it nice and easy, theres no mandatory website addresses required, no complicated numberboxes so that transferring stuff becomes impossible. We instead would just appreciate a small effort in making the paint look like it would belong in the series, for example you wouldnt be seeing a Monster Liveried 1939 Maserati.



We just ask for your racenumber clearly marked on the rear bumper, hood and each front door panel. There is a VTCC logo, which can be downloaded from the Daytona Dreams Storefront, but this is not mandatory, but your car may while be seen in more of the media shots if fitted.

We have no issues with Tobacco sponsorship, we dont have the worries of appealing to a third party to worry about, we do ask though that pornographic material or religious views isnt allowed and anyone found stirring that pot will simply be ejected from the site, banter is good, hatred isnt.

Theres no Team Championships on the VTCC, but team colours can be run as a collective if you so desire.

Opening Night of VTCC America drew in a crowd of 19, which is not the best number in the world when you are wanting to communiate on Xbox Live, but instead of going for the safe but sure two rooms of 10 and 9, we went for the single lobby of 19 and pretty much got away with it, even if i did hit the tyre barrier on the pace lap.

Next up is Sonoma Short for the Stock Spec Miata's next Wednesday 20th July, at 21:00 Eastern, 18:00 Pacific.

Better late than never i guess, i honestly thought i had posted these last week, but it appears i only did on social media.

A magnificent 22 drivers turned up for week two at Sonoma, so after qualifying was complete, two lobbies of eleven were set up, the biggest shock being myself that somehow managed fifth overall in qualifying, so i was in Lobby One, a place that i very rarely see these days.

We are fast in the media department at VTCC, so heres a few shots from Road Atlanta, a good 18 days after the event.

A good night of action from Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca, another superb turn out with 21 drivers involved

The penultimate round of the MX-5 Cup was at Watkins Glen over the short course, just 14 in the lobby this week and wins for BIGBEN0913 and MULISHAxTROOP24 taking his first VTCC victory in a RTR 1-2 in race two.

Just the eleven cars taking to the grid in the final round of the MX-5 Cup at Indianapolis, Xbox Live was playing its usual game of russian roulette, JROC1966 not even getting a chance to make his mark no matter how had we tried, i myself kept being kicked out of the party, although weather that was Xbox Live or them just wanting in the party, i havent fully decided yet.

The title was still between three coming into the final, FreshCubanBread taking race one sealed it, although MULISHAxTROOP24 is getting to like this winning habit taking Race Two.
