Introduction to the TORA Community
Allow me to introduce myself!
My gamertag is Jedidiah93. My name is Justin Lister. I'm 23 and live in the United States, Utah to be specific which puts me in the mountain time zone. My real racing experience is very limited. I've attended a few open drag strip nights as a driver. I also participated in a "dream car" event in which I autocrossed a Ferrari F430 Spyder and a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. I have no experience racing competitively IRL. I've been an avid Forza player since Forza 4 in 2011. I have also dabbled in Project CARS, Playground Games' Formula 1 series and GRID. Conveniently my interests in real cars and video games comes together quite well in the Forza universe. I haven't take the time as of yet to take stock of the many series that are running here but I'd like to start off with something more towards the grass roots level. Eventually I aspire to move up to an endurance series/anything with GT cars. I found TORA doing a search on Google because I had heard there was such a thing as virtual motorsports. My curiosity was piqued and I watched a few broadcasts of TORA events. I decided it was something that I really wanted to be a part of. So there it is! I'm glad to be here!

Re: Introduction to the TORA Community
Welcome to TORA!
As far as "grassroots" level, the closest current offering would be Touring Masters. but there's talks of a grassroots series returning to Mondays in US primetime.

Might be a stupid question, but Touring Masters is already well underway, I can still enter? Also I noticed registration form asks for a sponsor, what's that about? Again, these might be stupid questions but this is a totally new world for me. If there's a better place on the forums for me to direct these questions in the future I'd like to know that as well. Thanks!

Re: Introduction to the TORA Community
It would be a "virtual" sponsor. Just a logo to fill space on the car and make it look more realistic. I usually use a sponsor because I like their products, or know someone in the company, or am a fan of someone the sponsor was affiliated with.
As for entering late, sure. You've missed the bulk of the series, but can always jump in for the remaining events.

Re: Introduction to the TORA Community
I hear one will be starting on Monday nights around 20:30 Eastern in the near future! Just heard it from a little bird.
In any event, welcome!
