It's far easier to get the GTO to 630, and its far more competitive at the lower PI as well.
Re: American Iron Carlist and Build Specs
Can't we have it maxed at 450 HP please?

Re: American Iron Carlist and Build Specs
I'm at 450 HP I can probably get it to 630 by dropping the weight reduction

Re: American Iron Carlist and Build Specs
To check legality, set up a private lobby to the HP specs and see if it can get in. It is a go or no go test.
Re: American Iron Carlist and Build Specs
I'm strugglin with some of these to get them at 401-449 HP... I don't want to put the 7.0L V8 Engine swap in it...Can we do less HP if we want lol

Sorry, but the minimum/maximums are there to keep the cars balanced. Example, you take 50HP off, and add more grip upgrades, that car would have a bit of unfair advantages over the others in the corners.

Re: American Iron Carlist and Build Specs
Careful Pontiac check your car in private lobby with lobby settings to see if it can enter being at 450 doesn't mean your car is legal for lobby it might be if your at 450.3 but you won't be if your 450.6

Re: American Iron Carlist and Build Specs
With the "1967 Chevy II SS" did you actually mean the in-game 1966 Chevy Nova SS? The Chevy II became the Nova later, so I figured that was the intent I also assume the year on the Plymouth GTX was meant to be 1971.

Re: American Iron Carlist and Build Specs
would it not be wise to have a actual list of parts for the cars? since there seem to be several was to get the car to 630 pi.

It doesn't matter what parts you use as long as you include the mandatory ones and stay within the power, weight, and PI restrictions. Building freedom is part of the fun!
