Come on people
We are only 3 rounds into the series and there are things people don't care/do when racing.
Today i was in A lobby, you think that the racing was clean and fair but no, we had 4-5 cautions in segment 3 and we had people WITH MICS not calling where they where. I use cockpit and no HUD arrows and you don't call.... don't blame me, if i don't see you and i move when your there.
This is getting out of shape guys, step it up and CALL WHERE YOU ARE. I've had enough of it, just call out where you are.
Then the drivers not giving a [Censored] where people where when a caution hits for example IN THE SAME LOBBY AND RACE ShortyGoFast got overtaken under caution. She went from 3rd TO LAST like come on. She left afterward but guys, have more respect for people.
I've had to say what i need.
Thank you.

Re: Come on people
I kinda agree ....however if you turn your hud off that's your choice personally I think if your not looking around you when your on track surely that's you partially at fault? I mean come on in ANY real racing how many guys talk to rivals and say " hey man I'm on your inside " I mean I tried to call a Pitstop in b lobby and then was Hit on the inside so all good intentions aside calling out track position/moves does not always work as I'm sure most guys will agree

Re: Come on people
I have to agree with stug here. Using cockpit view and no hud does not excuse a driver from their responsibility to be aware of their surroundings on track at all times. While communication between drivers on track is asked for and encouraged, it still falls on each driver to know what's going on around them.
As for the mentioned incident under caution, that is a procedural error that should have been rectified by the host AT THE TIME. Lobby host are in effect race control, and are responsible for insuring that all rules and regulations are followed. If they are unable or unwilling to fufill that responsibility then they should not be hosting races.

Re: Come on people
If that's the case joito let's all just go back to public lobby's and pile into turn one like all the other chumps no we are not professional racing drivers and no we don't do this for a living.....which is why many of us are a member of this forum because we are living out our fantasy of being a racing driver hence why we all SHOULD stick to certain standards of behaviour and one of those is a certain level of self awareness and not ploughing though other racers just to get up the field.
I don't know about anyone else but I get a greater sense of satisfaction having a clean (ish) race finishing 9th rather than forcefully smashing into other drivers and finishing in the top 3

Re: Come on people
I'm the same reason stug I'm just saying we shouldn't so upset over stuff like this that's all, I'm on for clean racing that's the reason I'm here I just hate seeing bashing something that just isn't gonna be perfect
Re: Come on people
It's the fact if your gonna race clean make clean passes and not forcing them and in racing you have mirrors for a reason am I right? You have a joystick to look around right? Use them....I have no problem racing without someone using there mic I raced amazing with someone last night who wasn't in the party(franchitti fan) it can be done you don't someone in your ear telling you something when you can look around and use your mirrors....
Re: Come on people
Yeah exactly I completely agree with all the point you just raised joito for sure.
I think calling out every time is distracting and to be fair let's your opponents know what your planning to do......like I said we are trying to simulate a real racing environment are we not? If that's the case then for people that would prefer it as close to RL as possible why not have no chatter lobby's??

Re: Come on people
Just a point of interest here. In the Nascar season finale at Miami/Homestead speedway 2015 with professional stockcar drivers there were 13 caution flags, we the online amateurs had less than 10. I'm just saying.....

Re: Come on people
It was especially confusing in Lobby B with two racers named Ben in the lobby.stug77 wrote:Yeah exactly I completely agree with all the point you just raised joito for sure.

Let's all not forget that these were the FIRST TASCAR races at both Daytona and Homestead. It is probably going to take some time for people to get use to the track and the limits to racing at them. I'm quite confident that the racing at these tracks will be better later in the season.
Let's all just agree to look forward to Laguna Seca next month, huh?
