It was a shame but I didn't see any other options. If we returned, we would be many laps down and the only fair thing to do would be to let everyone go and hotlap... which no one would want to do. If I raced at full speed, I'd be interfering for the race at the front and if I caused a crash, that would be my fault because by racing rule, those competing for the win should be let through. I didn't want to cause any of that drama so I yanked the car. Congrats on the win BTW, and to those that finished on the podium. I think we had something for y'all, but it just wasn't meant to be. We will be back.
