It has a glitch that doesn't want to connect to online servers. I am in the process of deleting items (cars/tunes/paints/vinyls) that "may" be the cause, but have yet to find that magic "all better now" item. If that fails, I have to delete the entire save, which has level 778 and some 391+ million Cr, 500 cars, and tons of tunes, liveries, and shared vinyls.
In the meantime, I have started a secondary profile, and grinded out enough Cr to get the car and upgrades I need for this week. If all else fails, at least that profile loads and connects instantly, so I should at least get to race and host this week.

if you delete your save on the console there is a copy on the xbox servers since they use a cloud sync authentication to keep cheaters/modders out now
